We're not a "nation divided"

I had to post this because I'm so tired of hearing political personalities cry that "we're a nation divided", like we're at each other's throats all day or something.  In fact, the country is pretty much in sync for the most part.

Just because George Soros and Hussein got the OWS gang back together again and staged some pretend NAZI stand down doesn't mean we're divided.  Yes, we have dumb liberals mixed in with us normal people, but overall, I can make it through the day without getting caught up in the middle of a race war.

A funny anecdote, while the whole fake Charlottsville was happening real time last week, I was on the road and pulled over at a gas station down south where there was a solid mix of race, yet everyone was holding the door open for each other, "thank you ma'am and sir" back and forth with the cashier and with people in line, and then I grabbed some lunch near that area and nobody gave two fucks about some pretend brewing race war.  It really hit me how fake the situation was and how nobody cares about it at all.  Some were probably thinking it was a real situation, but it's pretty obvious even they know it would be such a small minority.  When I hopped back in my car and turned the radio back on, it was back to the new Civil War.

Another thought I had was the Marxists' play book is so outdated.  This crap might have flown back in 1983 or something, but they seem to be getting less and less mileage out of their community organizing.  This is a short article on Rules for Radicals, but glance through them real quick and think about how obvious their shit is and how most people see through it nowadays:

https://www.steelonsteel.com/saul-alinskys-12-rules-for-radicals/

Quote1. "Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have." Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. "Have-Nots" must build power from flesh and blood.

2. "Never go outside the expertise of your people." It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.

3. "Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy." Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

4. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

6. "A good tactic is one your people enjoy." They'll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They're doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.

7. "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag." Don't become old news.

8. "Keep the pressure on. Never let up." Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

9. "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.

10. "If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive." Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

11. "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative." Never let the enemy score points because you're caught without a solution to the problem.

12. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

This is OWS... Black Lives Matter.... Charlottesville... and on and on.  It's odd that the community organizers with this much cash, like a Soros, are so yesterday with their methods. Is this the best they have?  Sure, they've branched out into social media, but they're still not landing any real punches.  Some scattered Marxists politicians and academics are taking down some statues, but that's really it.  Something tells me the agitators wanted a little more than that.  I swear I even saw in a comment section two AI bots arguing with each other.

But back to my original point, it's us, the people, against the Marxists.  The DNC is dead and buried.  A lemonade stand run by a 9 year old operating in violation without a business license raises more cash than the DNC right now.  The Communists are slowly clawing back in the RNC with McCain, McConnell, and the like, but not fast enough.  No young Republicans (at least in any significant numbers) are Communist.

Our war is with the Marxists in the Republican party -- not Antifa.  Antifa is something a little pepper-spray and some fire hoses can take care of.  Uprooting Marxists like Ryan is where the fight is.  I know most of us know this, but this whiny "divided nation" crap is grating on me like some Bernie slogan.  It's not true.

We're not a nation divided.  We're a nation of a bunch of people with views and opinions that see through most of the staged BS, regardless of what side of the isle they may be on.  We're a nation of normal people having to educate the minority liberals on how the world works.  That's not a divided nation, that's deprogramming, educating, and introducing the radical concept of free thinking to the youth and those adults late to the party.

A substantial divide exists in our nation and there is a daily fight over the hearts of our nation's people. The "normal" folks are too busy to care - but many were corrupted under the daily wicked influence.

Taxed: I agree that many of the divisions are contrived. The latest "racist" invention is an example. These are just exploits to further the "cause" of those pushing them to gain support for their part of the division.

But there are significant divisions in some dimensions like world view/philosophy, politics, and faith and these can build or erode our republic little-by-little as the thoughts, words, and deeds flow over "normal" society daily.

The primary political division are typically labelled as: Left: democrat / liberal, Right: republican / capitalist / conservative. And there are variances and deviations from the spectrum from far left to far right. But these reflect well enough the dominant political variation.
The democratic division is clear in congress and reflect similarly in the public with the goal to subvert the constitution for their purposes. There is a major division on the right which is conservatives and non-conservatives or RINOs. Conservatives position are with and defend the republic setup by the founding fathers and the laws created relative to the constitution.

The exploits on either side of the division are perpetrated then reported by the LSM and other information outlets. Normal people eat from that bowl of fruit loops everyday.

Now, when I say "normal", I define it as the average citizen who lives near a city or in a suburb and hits the nail at work everyday and occasionally feeds from some media trough. Most "normal" people aren't concerned about the big picture stuff. They're too busy with living their lives and aren't involved in the exploits of the minority crazies. I think that was your main point. But, unfortunately, the normal people are influenced by the information outlets that grind daily - and the flow of information moves them a little at a time one way or the other. That's what the left in concert with the LSM does - they use every lever they can pull to attempt manipulation of the public in their direction. The Saul Alinsky "rules" demonstrate the point.

I, for one, fall victim to surprise all the time by changes that I thought were impossible but appear. The corrosive nature of the continual work from the left is the derived source of most of my surprise. Example: We start off with some getting rid of their pregnancies under cover and in shame and now we end up with genocide in our country that many are proud of under the pseudo-name of free choice - killing our own children as being accepted legally. Really? How did that happen? It's because of the greatest divide - good vs. evil, sin vs. righteousness, selfishness vs. loving God, loving your neighbor as yourself - the root cause of the divide.

I tend to both agree and disagree. On one hand, people are polite to each other, go about their business, which usually involves going to work and taking care of your family. But Get a bunch of people together and listen to them start to B**tch, the crap these Marxists are doing is causing a lot of consternation and uncertainty in their lives. I keep hearing, things like "I'm not going to Charlottesville anymore, too many lunatics"   Insert Richmond or Fairfax Virginia and too many Illegals, gangs or Muslim's and you have some idea.  People think they are going to be attacked because they have voted for or support Trump.

As I keep telling you all, McAwful is universally hated outside of his leftist base in Richmond, and the peoples republic of Northern Va its like, what is this A-hole going to do next? Him and that light in the loafers limp wristed Timmy Boy Kaine.

There is a LOT of anger over the failure to repeal Obamaocare, a lot of that anger, rightfully so, is directed at the GOP.

Agree completely.

I'll add, it doesn't take *much* to bring out the fear or loathing in people.
We had one lady at our last event, I mentioned "Prepper", and like lightning stuck, she bought 2 items.   Otherwise, she was just walking on by us.  Some people *want* to hear bad news, they look & live for it.

Good News is met with skepticism and travels like molasses - Bad news is readily accepted and repeated a hundred times more often.

Still mulling over the stuff Steve Bannon said, and hoping Trump follows through on the big picture.... nothing shuts down critics like success.

When I look at the hard working Americans, I agree with everything you stated. Americans are not divided nor are we raciest. However we do have a growing segment of our society that does not seem to want employment. This "class" seems to feel the rest of us owe them something, such as free healthcare, because it is their "right" to have it. This is where I see we become divided if only for the reason that the liberals have labeled them victims and because they are victims we are to give in to their demands. I do believe this group causes way too many problems for what they are worth.

We are divided but we can still be civil to each other. Two of  my black co-workers think Obama was god-like while  i praise Trump, but we dont  pull out guns and blast away at each other.

Good post Taxed.
This has been my issue with TV viewers and their ignorance in believing they can watch and not be manipulated.
If you actually believe this nation is in anyway divided in the slightest, then you've fallen for the leftist narrative being produced for your consumption via TV.

There is no division in the country, only an illusion so you'll vote accordingly. It's all about dividing up the country, create strife, start riots, lay the ground work for the fomentation of communism.
You must create an air of anarchism and failed govt for a dictator/fascist to be acceptable, allow for strict laws to stop the needless rioting, then heavy govt rule will be acceptable, once this has been instituted, there is no stopping communism, the destruction of our God given Rights and Constitution.

Damn, I don't know which will come first, people turning off the TV and giving leftists the finger, or communism.
No one is immune to manipulation through TV, no matter how God Damned smart you think you are, a steady diet of strife, anger and never once showing the good that takes place everdyday, is bound to have an effect.
Compare the old FOX to the other networks, FOX just did it better to get their gop'E guy elected, but they manipulated people just like all the other leftist networks did, only better.

You want to see real America? Then Turn off the TV!
