I don't see how this could work without thousands of lawsuits. Anyone who has no ancestry dating back to that period would sue.

Well I have ancestry dating back to that period.   But they were in the U.S. before the Pale Face came along and started taxing everyone.

And find out what those slaves owned before they were sold ...And Claim it as their decendents " ...  And black people we cant listen to alot of " Blacks " here in America on this issue ..because they have the same spirit of selling eachother out .... so it's going to take a small band of African American's to do this ...

Of course, there had been slave trade through the history of mankind. It was only the rise of the industrial age, which substituted machine for muscle power, that made it go away - in the Western world. The South was stupid to start the Civil War, somehow they lacked the ability to recognize the coming future, when machines would perform that labor. Having watched the arrival of innumerable forms of other mechanization - like their cotton gin for example - one wonders how they could have been that stupid. I guess they just grew comfortable in their lifestyle.  I always find it fascinating though, that ideologues always single out the western slave trade as particularly odious. A western captains profit depended upon how much of his cargo arrived alive. Arab slavers marching blacks across the Sahara, didn't particularly care. Male slaves would be castrated anyway, which meant no natural growth, which meant the would always be going back for more.
