Voting Changes?

Just for conversation's sake:

Forget Electoral votes.  That debate has worn thin.  Should all voting machines be identical cross the country keeping in mind that could make fraud even easier to commit?

Should all the primaries be on the same day?

Should open primaries be eliminated?

Should there be a cutoff date for changing party affiliation prior to the primary with no one being allowed to switch back until after the general election.  Keep in mind could be a bureaucratic nightmare?

Should the general election and the primaries be held on a weekend when more voters are off from work?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

The two party system relies on division, that's the reason it exists.
It's what Marxists do, and the GOP plays along to their advantage because they need a villain and a victim to remain in power.
Leftists are the villain and the electorate the victim, and keeping this illusion alive via shared party policy, they seize their permanency in position.

Cruz is a threat to their very way of life, which is why TEA became the enemy of the govt.

I am all for all primaries on the same day. I see no reason why the citizens of Iowa and New Hampshire should have so much influence on the nominating process.

I will never forget how Elizabeth Dole (like her or not, she was a former cabinet officer and senator) dropped out after a STRAW POLL in Iowa. People should get to VOTE on these things.

Money, it's all about advertising bucks and state venues.
I agree, It should be done on the same day, but It'll never change.

No way on the same day.  The LSM would lose a lot of money.  Along with advertising firm and hotels.

If they're on the same day, the Pacific Time Zone's 7-AM should be the keystone start-time.  Meaning polls open in the East at 10-AM.  Central Time Zone: 9-AM, Mountain: 8-AM.  Twelve-hour voting in each zone.

That would eliminate the Eastern Time Zone from hogging the spotlight by way of media calling winners three hours before the Western polls close.  Why waste time voting for somebody who's way ahead or way behind?
