The first immigration act of 1790 opened citizenship up only to "free white persons." In order to settle the Midwest and west, a lot of different white groups were allowed in in the 19th century, but all the immigration policies centered on keeping the US white.

In 1924 the National Origins Act effectively cut off immigration from areas that weren't North-Western European. Why? Because it was understood, based on the previous few decades, that even Eastern and Southern Europeans did not fit easily into our Anglo-Saxon systems.

The idea of turning the US brown or black, even when Hart-Celler was passed in 1965, was too absurd to even think about.

No average American thought of the US as a multiracial project "bringing in the best people from everywhere" until very recently. That line of thinking is a cultural Marxist hoax.

We have succeeded as a country because everyone came here with a simple desire, better themselves. Those who assimilated to this ideal have been part of the success. History tells us those who do not aspire to assimilation have struggled and look for scapegoats for their lack of success. It has nothing to do with race or national origin.

I was referring to the early IQ tests, the ones designed for graduates of elitist colleges as way of claiming superiority over others. Test used today vary as much as grains of sand on a beach. Aptitude tests are often mistaken for IQ tests.

What was described were conditions which made learning necessary. Another way to put it, kids in school will pass more tests than kids who do not go to school. That has nothing to do with race. If you really think the United States was founded based off of hitler type racism, it is obvious you do not understand history of this country and will not learn. Racism has no place in this world, not now, not ever.

I acknowledge the sexes have some different traits by God's design. Not the same with races. Different races will have different cultural traits, but that in no way means one is superior to the other.
