Yes, Virginia, that is an actual human being in that womb....

QuoteA bill that would define a fetus as a person and set the stage for Virginia to abolish legal abortions passed a key Senate committee Thursday morning and now heads to the full Senate for a vote.

The so-called personhood bill already passed the House of Delegates. Gov. Bob McDonnell has not indicated if he would sign the bill, citing legal concerns. However, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, the state's top legal adviser, backs the measure.

The Senate Health and Education Committee passed the bill with an amendment on an 8-7 party-line vote during a busy morning meeting in which they also approved a bill mandating women receive an abdominal ultrasound before getting an abortion.

I sure hope it passes.  Not because I think it's a good law.  I don't.  But I sure want to see what happens.

Donks have put this on ice.

QuoteRICHMOND — The Virginia Senate on Thursday voted to re-refer a so-called "personhood" measure defining life as beginning at conception back to committee, killing it for the 2012 session.

The Republican-controlled Education and Health Committee had approved the measure, introduced by Delegate Robert G. Marshall, Prince William Republican, on a party-line 8-7 vote Thursday morning.

But Thursday afternoon, Senate Minority Leader Richard L. Saslaw, Fairfax Democrat, made the motion on the Senate floor to continue the bill to next year. He was backed by Majority Leader Thomas K. Norment Jr., James City Republican, who said legislators needed more time to study the issue. The motion passed on a 24-14 vote.

So what's a DONK?

Dumb Old Nasty Knuckledragger?

Looks like there are still some people in Virgina with brains, so they put it off.

Not to mention it will make all the females with brains, vote Democrat.

Quiller needs a hobby other than getting his nose in other people business.

Perhaps he should go find himself a baby to adopt that was forced into this world and is now starving in the streets, due to his and other zealots, religious beliefs!

Short for "donkey", which is the Democrat's symbol.

People are usually "starving in the streets" because of welfare and drugs. You can thank a liberal.

Funny thing how shallow ignorant children always focus on he who posted something and not the content of what got posted. Take your hilarious run for cover over Hussein Downgrade and his heinous plan to detain people without trial or appeal. YOU haven't addressed that --- and I keep asking why.

I occupy my time in a way you cannot argue. Moreover, my link to Rachel Maddow and MSNBC came from a source you liberals cannot refute. I hope that sizzles YOUR shorts, because I intend to hammer you relentlessly using that same irrefutable method.

What I do not do is demand you stop posting, or suggest what activities would better occupy your time between welfare payouts. (Other than get a job.)

For the slow learners, "Donk" is short for donkey, the long-time party logo for the Democrats. I am not responsible for your abysmal ignorance of that fact.

GOP talking point, VACANT of fact.. So now prove it!

Pretty sure drug dealers are Republican since they have so much money.

Sadly the poor are hardest hit by anti abortion laws.

People with money can get an abortion if they want one, the poor do not have that ability.

adding another child to feed just makes the situation worse.

AND people are poor because the GOP built a business climate in the US, that caused over 8 millions jobs to disappeared, and now the best job they can get is at McDonald's.

quiller

People without money cannot get an abortion? This will be a terrible shock to Planned Parenthood, or any number of other baby-butcher outfits.

You talking about the S & P downgrade?  perhaps you can't read?  or too ignorant to understand what I wrote?

the S & P downgrade that I gave you the link to the report and the text where the Republicans are NAMED.

That downgrade??

Quote
Excerpt from the S & P report
Compared with previous projections, our revised base case scenario now
assumes that the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, due to expire by the end of 2012,
remain in place. We have changed our assumption on this because the majority
of Republicans in Congress continue to resist any measure that would raise
revenues, a position we believe Congress reinforced by passing the act.

Insane regulation and overzealous, anti-business policies by the Obama Mob had NOTHING to do with that job less, right? Yeah....thought as much.

I am talking about your repeated refusal to discuss Rachel Maddow's centerpiece story about Obama's unlawful plans to detain people without trial or appeal.

You're such a bad liar that I have trouble recalling anyone worse. Now go to that thread and comment about it --- if your fragile nonsensical view of America can even stand the idea that Hussein of the TelePrompter might be dead wrong as usual about one more issue.
