"Efforts for North Korea to achieve a peaceful stability for the last two decades have failed to make us safe," the secretary said.

Elections do have consequences, this difference is enormous in every sense of the word, and the effects are rippling across the entire globe.
I honestly don't remember this rapid change when Ronald Reagan was elected - I hope the positive stuff continues.

Tillerson's message was quite clear and, as you say, refreshing. I agree totally that the message was for China as this administration knows there is no way to reasonably discuss anything with NK.

I would think China would at this point be willing to work with us. Kim jr is more unstable than his father. Him having nukes is like giving an infant scissors and telling him to run down the hallway.
