United Nations Court 'Orders' Trump Administration To Lift Iran Sanctions
The International Court of Justice at the United Nations has issued an "order" Tuesday demanding that the United States lift sanctions against Iran re-imposed after the Trump administration decided to pull out of a nuclear proliferation treaty inked with Iran during the Obama years.

Yeah, its time to give the u.n. the boot. Maybe they could kill two birds with one stone and move the u.n. to iran. They would be far away from the evil Satan, and could learn first hand how wonderful iran is.

How Iran is still treated as a legitimate nation as opposed to a terror state is beyond me. These sanctions lifted from a country that literally has a death to America day and is trying to acquire nuclear weapons for the destruction of Israel and possibly the US? It blows my mind.
If we kicked the UN out of the country, we could use their buildings for homeless shelters.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced Wednesday the U.S. will terminate a 63-year-old treaty with Iran, hours after a top United Nations court ruled in favor of Tehran in a lawsuit challenging U.S. sanctions.
Pompeo said the abrogation of the 1955 Treaty of Amity was "39 years overdue," referring to the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran that resulted in the overthrow of the U.S.-friendly shah.
Until Pompeo's announcement, the Treaty of Amity had remained in force even though Washington and Tehran have not had normal diplomatic relations since 1980.
The move follows a ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that ordered Washington to lift any sanctions on Iran affecting humanitarian exports. Iran had sued the U.S. in July, arguing the renewal of sanctions that had been lifted as part of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal violated the 1955 treaty.

Would it go to far if Trump said to the U.N. to order in one hand and poop in the other, and see which one fills up quicker?
Apparently, the Court ruling was based on the antiquated Treaty, which we had neglected to void after the 1979
uprising. The Court turns out what appears to be a favorable ruling, expecting Washington to declare the Treaty
null. Regardless, the only way a ICJ ruling can be enforced is by the Security Council, wherein we have the
Veto. I had to check, the US and Iran are both signatories to the Accord, however, neither country has ever
ratified the accord. Sorta like all them accords that Obama signed and neglected to get ratified by the
Senate, all about as useful as a "pitcher of warm spit".
