Maybe it's Hillary asking for a favor for an old friend Strom Thurmond.

I don't believe the entire premise. Anyone that opposes Hillary Clinton gets endorsed by David Duke.
Does he just hate Hillary Clinton or does he support her and use his name to grafitti over her opposition.
Duke would likely endorse Jesse Jackson if he was in a primary  with Hillary.

Speaking of a relic. When I was working I would pass through Strom's hometown of Edgefield, SC. You could tell he certainly "brought home the bacon" from Washington for his hometown.

I don't know who paid him to do it, but Tulsi is a threat to the radical Marxists in the party.

The Clinton's probably funneled some money into Duke's coffers through cut outs and strawmen.  Hillary's had it in for Tulsi ever since she was the cochair of the DNC and quit and publicly endorsed Bernie Sanders once whe found that the Clinton Campaign controlled the DNC.

I think we have thought for  some time Duke trots out an endorsement at the  clintons behest. Timing  of this one was just  too cute.
