The entire episode with HC teaches about where our government leadership is at. It's about weakness in handling all entitlements. 

The Dims just heap on more entitlements ... and don't mind printing money in exchange for control over the population.

The Pubs can't bring themselves to shut down any entitlement. That's the central issue right now. But the entitlements are unsustainable. Checkmate.

Until more of the leadership realizes they are in office to do the right thing (the reason they were voted in) instead of pander for votes we're dead in the water. Adrift at sea with no winds to move us in a good direction.

Anything short of a full repeal and turn back to free market HC will have issues - diminish the productivity of those who would be more productive. Govt. healthcare will steal the assets of doers. It's fundamental.

Will people die? What a joke. Even more people will die if the doers are demotivated. The important thing isn't to motivate good people ... they will motivate themselves. It's to keep from demotivating them. Who is John Galt :-)
