I'm I misreading this or does this article admit that members of Trumps transition team and the campaign were subject to Wire taps by the FBI? Isn't this also in response to Obama's directive to get to the bottom of the Russian influence on the election? So directly or indirectly Obama did order the surveillance of the opposition party and made sure the information was distributed throughout his administration to guarantee the Info would be leaked!
I had the same question when I listened to comey tell us that the evidence shows that hillary is guilty so he will not recommend to prosecute.

I've been wading into C-Span - watched a bill's progress (or lack thereof) in the house for awhile.

HR 1343 was up in the House. A dim House member (missed  his name :-(  ) was bloviating on an instruction that he added to the bill aimed at cutting the level required for financial reporting. The bill called out the interaction of Trump and Russia for investigation ... ADDED IT AS AN INSTRUCTION TO THE BILL??? It went up for house vote today at about 4:30 - the change went down by about a 50 vote margin ... 2 Pub votes when to the yea side (telling) and 1 dim vote went to the nay side (interesting). Should be able to figure out who those votes were somehow, right? The instruction may have been innocuous (not sure) but it was definitely an insult to the Pubs and POTUS.

I tried to find the amendment and instruction, but could not locate it. I think it's interesting since it perfectly demonstrates how violently insane some of the Dims are. It may get posted in the record tomorrow - I'll try and remember to check. They tried to identify Trump as guilty in the instruction with recourse - when there hasn't been a shred of evidence that Trump has done anything illegal with the Russians regarding the election.

I'm posting this because some of you are ninja's at finding such material. I looked for an hour with no luck. Will try looking at the congressional record tomorrow.

I like to make things simple. There have been so many leaks regarding Trump and yet not one leak about Trump and Russia. Why is that?

We know the main reason, but the GOP are loving the distraction because they think no one is paying attention to the fact they're doing Dim party work.

Yeah, Trump may want to rethink who his base is.

How Trump's Twitter Tantrum Against Conservatives Backfired

Donald Trump's Twitter account was among his most potent political weapons during the presidential campaign. He used it to bully opponents, browbeat the media and bend public opinion.

But when he took to his favorite medium to castigate a trio of conservative lawmakers who opposed his health care approach, a funny thing happened on the way to 140 characters. It backfired.

Reps. Mark Meadows of North Carolina, Jim Jordan of Ohio and Raul Labrador of Idaho – the Freedom Caucus members who Trump targeted via Twitter out of frustration due to the legislative malaise that has encumbered his administration – each found themselves buoyed back in their home districts as high-principled heroes. Meanwhile, the episode made Trump look petty and out of touch, even to some of those who consider themselves supporters of the president.

But will Trump LEARN from the experience? (One can still hope...)

Or will he act like all other progs and, refusing to admit their agenda is not what the majority of people want in their lives, continue with the finger pointing blame game propaganda, using the prog favorite tactic of repeating a lie so often it becomes truth in peoples' minds?

Yep, and this is one of the very reasons I was against Trump from the start, his view of the US comes through the eyes of a rich lib that lives in a bubble.

When this officially falls apart Trump is going to blow up Twitter.
Not sure if that is a good thing.

Mark Meadows spoke to students at the high school in my area last week and was greeted with great enthusiasm. The local newspaper reported many students came up to him after the session and complimented him personally on his work. We have some good parenting going on around here.

I'm posting this because some of you are ninja's at finding such material. I looked for an hour with no luck. Will try looking at the congressional record tomorrow.

So this was the House spent part of their time yesterday.

1. There was an amendment to a bill proposed:

H. Rept. 115-75 - PROVIDING FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE BILL (H.R. 1343)
TO DIRECT THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION TO REVISE ITS RULES SO
AS TO INCREASE THE THRESHOLD AMOUNT FOR REQUIRING ISSUERS TO PROVIDE CERTAIN
DISCLOSURES RELATING TO COMPENSATORY BENEFIT PLANS

2. There was no debate, and by unanimous consent the bill was withdrawn because a couple of the Pub reps. agreed that it should be investigated more under the GAO (whatever that means).

3. The Chair then asked some stuff. The Bill was re-read. And then an instruction was added to the Bill by Rep. Swalwell (D) of CA. So the Pub bill, which the Dims don't like, was off the floor and a Dim brought it back out.

4. Eric Swalwell, representing the 15th district of CA, recommitted the bill with an instruction.

The instructions contained in the motion seek to require the bill to be reported back to the House with an amendment to add a section to prohibit any exemption to an issuer if the issuer or affiliate of the issuer has withheld information from Congress relevant to its investigation of any collusion between persons associated with the Russian Government and persons associated with a presidential campaign.

My Note: This sounds innocuous. But the words that Swalwell spoke were pre-supposing Trump collusion specifically under this bill. That is outrageous from a leader of our nation - a defamation of character since there has been zero evidence. It deserves harsh action. Ok CA - time to put Mr. Swallwell down. Now.

I couldn't find the instruction online (help) - looked considerably. But I re-listened and provide the summaries:

Summary of the Instruction (a little weak, but you'll get the gist):
Under Section 3 to direct Prohibition any exempt, safe harbor, or authority by this act or regulation of this act shall not apply to isuer if issuer has withheld information from Congress related to its investigation of any collusions with persons of the Russian government and persons associated with the campaign of Donald J. Trump to influence the 2016 election.

QuoteMr. Swalwell's then went on to list his biased, circumstantial evidence of Trump collusion with the government in support of the instruction.

You can listen to his full five-minutes at: https://www.c-span.org/video/?426404-101/us-house-meets-legislative-business
He comes on at about 4:14.

5. They did a verbal favor / opposed which obviously failed but Swalwell asked for a Yea / Nea (electronic vote). The Bill with instruction was defeated by a substantial margin as I previously described.

It's time for the good people of CA to hand Mr. Swalwell his hat. No, his head. He can go sit next to Blake.

The Dims keep blowing themselves up. Emotion is still overriding their typical devious reserve. I hope the real media doesn't mind blowing Mr. Swalwell up - exposing him for accusations without actual merit. And for wasting everyones time (tax dollars).
