I see  it  completely  different. Trump caved and Pelosi won big. There wont  be wall funding and  in 3 weeks even more reps will be defecting. There is  no other way to look at this accept we got our asses rolled.

I think alot  of trumps base is  going to leave.

My guess is dems will agree to a few  more agents and a  virtual wall that will stop virtual illegals

Why in the hell will dems give anything  now when they already rolled trump. Dems know more and  more reps are going to say no wall. Trump gave up every  bit  of leverage he had. So whst  if  he declares an  emergency. It will immediately be tied  up in court. I dont he will do it anyway. This is just  like  parents threatening to punish their kids but never actually doing  it. Kids know they can do what they  want.

Trump has surrendered to Pelosi. There will not be a wall, barrier, fence, or slowing of the over running of America in 3 weeks, 3 months, or three years. Dems will propose massive funding for "border security" to trick the American public, like they do with all their solutions, that spending more money will solve any problem. However the money will never get to the people who work behind the scenes (ergo border agents) who actually know what they are talking about. Massive defeat for Trump and the Pubs anyway you slice it. Just what the hell do you think is going to happen in 3 weeks? Another govt. shutdown (which will be blamed on Trump) or a totally ineffective plan from Pelosi (which she knows won't stop the illegals flood) that will cost Trump many in his base and accomplish zero

I agree. All this "who won" BS is a distraction. The end goal is to run the damn country. The shutdown had become a real distraction and the news cycle was only going to make it worse. Let's hope some adults will show up in Washington and we come to real compromise.

He hasn't surrendered anything. Can you let the man negotiate? He may not be negotiating exactly how you would, but I just watched the video and in no way, shape, or form did he cave. He's giving them a little extra rope.
