President Trump is considering breaking up the 9th Circuit Court after a federal district court judge in its jurisdiction blocked his order to withhold funding from "sanctuary cities."
In a Wednesday interview with the Washington Examiner, Trump said "there are many people who want to break up the 9th Circuit. It's outrageous."
In the interview, Trump accused liberals of "judge-shopping" for a court that would strike down his executive order.

That judge financially supported Obama for president.

Trump needs to make appointing those 100 federal judges where there are openings. RIGHT NOW. Obama flipped the Virginia circuit in one term. Trump needs to do the same.

QuoteAt the time, The Federalist found that Orrick raised at least $200,000 for Obama and donated more than $30,000 to groups supporting him.
So much for Nonpartisan judges.

Doesn't most of the ninth circuit decisions get overturned?

Doesn't most of the ninth circuit decisions get overturned?
QuoteIt routinely is the most overturned court in the U.S. In 2012, the Supreme Court reversed 86 percent of the rulings it reviewed from the ninth.
Critics deride the court, calling it the "Ninth Circus" and the "Nutty Ninth."

Yes. I've seen stats like somewhere around 80% to 85% are shot down. By now I suppose the 9th Circus is the Supreme Court's idea of stand-up comedy. Something you enjoy in less serious moments.
I'd love to see Congress debate breaking up that same court. It would have to take that route, not the whim of some incumbent.
I'm curious of the legal aspect to this. Assuming it is possible.
