Trump pulls U.S. out of climate accord
« on: June 01, 2017, 01:42:13 PM »

'I represent the people of Pittsburgh NOT Paris': Trump pulls U.S. out of climate accord saying it is a foreign attempt to seize American jobs and American wealth - and is immediately attacked by Obama
Donald Trump is pulling the United States out of the Paris climate agreement that Barack Obama entered
President says he is protecting American jobs and accuses treaty of being designed to redistribute U.S. wealth to other countries
'I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh not Paris,' he said - 'It is time to make America great again.'
Obama reacted before Trump even finishing speaking, saying action means U.S. joins a small handful of nations that reject the future'
Trump told 'foreign leaders in Europe, Asia and across the world' they would not have a say over American jobs and American growth
Syria and Nicaragua are only other countries not in deal whose backers say is vital to stopping average temperatures growing by more than 2C this century
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were said to have lobbied to stay in - and were not at the Rose Garden to witness the decision being announced

Trump needs to keep pressing on and keep one step ahead of the democrats. When this dies down and the first sign of the word Russia takes hold with the MSM do something else that would make the dems head spin. Like moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

I'm sure Jared and Ivanka are fuming!  Why, oh, why, doesn't he reconsider and get them the heck out of the White House?

Here's the list of crony capitalists that wanted Trump to sign on with this scam.  (thanks Solar!)
The companies that can do without my business (have signed the pledge):

American Express - I will start returning those applications for credit and business credit cards with a little note, instead.
Apple - Won't bother buying an Iphone.
Coca-Cola - no thanks, I'll go back to the cheaper store brands
Dell - Dude, their liberals!
GE - no appliances from them.
General Mills - done with their cereal
General Motors - that's the answer I wanted, my next truck will be a Nissan, Toyota, Ford or Dodge.
Google - Easy one, just changed the search engine to Duck-Duck.
Hershey’s - bye!  Unfortunately, wifey is going to have to settle for the expensive stuff.
Johnson and Johnson - We'll just look at the label, and pick the store brand instead.
Kellogg’s - done with their cereal too!
McDonalds Corporation - Hello Wendy's, Arbys, Burger King
Microsoft - only because of required by the job.
Nestle - no bottled water, or chocolate from them again.
Pepsi-Co - store brands, Kroger has some pretty good soda, and BTW... I think I'll skip Pizza Hut & Taco Bell.
Procter & Gamble - Tooth Paste, Shaving cream, soap - eh, it's probably cheaper to switch brands.
Target - You guys already let my credit card information leak, this just 'seals the deal' as a 'no deal, pal'
UPS - when you absolutely have to be unAmerican, signing this crap - FedEx has an alternative answer.
Walmart - already cut W_A_Y back on Wally World
The Walt Disney Company - as I expected... why we never watched Bambi or darken the gates of the joint in FL or CA.

Thanks for the list Solar, all these companies wanted to let the world know where they stand on redistribution of American Tax Payer money.

If they really, REALLY believe in Global Warming - pull out your own wallet and throw your company profits at these ungrateful Europeans.

I searched hard to find that list and that's from two years ago, so the list may have grown and shifted a bit.
I already boycott nearly all of these, so I can't make much of an impact, but glad to hear someone else will join the ranks.

I really do give credit to Trump, he was under serious pressure from these crony bastards as well as the gop'E because these are the money backers that keep the RINO Scum in office.
In searching for this list, I came across at least a dozen articles making excuses for why these bastards wanted the govt teat so badly, and every headline said: "The Real Reason So Many Corporations Want Trump To Sign". Yeah, an obvious concerted effort to sway public opinion, and it failed.

They all claimed it was to level the playing field for the future. Total Bull Shit! All we have to do is kill off NAFTA and kick the UN out of the country and we'd level the field.
These corporations are only American in name, their loyalties went Marxist long ago.

Whatever you think of Trump that is another major campaign promise kept! With all the pressure he was under to keep the Paris Agreement it took real courage to stand on his convictions. He earned a real gold star today!

He needed something after the last two weeks of press attacks, then Kathy gave him just the break he needed, and today he came out on top, so the next week is free run.
I will always credit Trump when he does the Right thing, but with the E'gop breathing down his neck, I don't expect too many victories to come along.
