I had TV on this morning when the Trump presser came on. The main subject was to allegations by the press and the Hillary campaign that Trump had not really contributed the money he said he had from the event he held when he skipped the Fox debate earlier this year. I was not paying close attention until Trump went off on the media. He even called the ABC reporter a sleaze to his face. This got my attention and I started paying closer attention. Trump had previously outlined in detail the contributions he had made to veteran groups and it came to about $5.5M. He totally destroyed the allegations and ranted on about how unfair the media is. I was thinking this is appealing to a lot of folks at home and reminded me why he is doing so well. It made me think how would Hillary do with the type questioning Trump got. Of course, we will never know. First, Hillary would never agree to that type presser and, secondly, the MSM would never question her like Trump was questioned. Once again it made me ask myself, is he just lucky or actually a good politician who can read the public?

Well, I noticed Trump likes to stay on offence, and will use name calling to his advantage.
He plays ball his way.

It was remarkably satisfying to see the mainstream press-corps get spoken to like that.  They were off-balance immediately, prevented from innocuously interrupting by being interrupted...  No windy leadups or rambling followups.

" Is this what your future press-conferences will be like ? "

" Yes. "

I wish I knew what reporter Trump was talking to when he said:  " Yeah, I know you.  You're a real beauty.  Next question. "

Sad isn't it, that an electorate sees his inability to carry on a conversation without the arrogance, as a plus?
How would Cruz have handled that situation?
But sadly, the same people that applaud bad behavior in the NY Lib aren't smart enough to understand a Cruz answer.

I honestly didn't see anything about what Trump said or did that would lead me to hurrah his reaction.

He stated he raised and gave x amount of money to a Veterans group
A few months later, questions surfaced about amount raised
Instead of answering the questions with facts Trump did a side step and refused to release any documentation which would have put the matter to rest
Serious question were raised months later that he never in fact raised nor donated the amount he claimed, again, had he disclosed early on it would not have been an issue
Trump gets all upset over the questions being ask and "calls out the media"  riiighhhttt...

Trump demands Hillary release her transcripts of speeches but refuses to release his tax documents or for that matter, release his off the record interview with the NYT concerning the "wall"

See the hypocrisy?

Hillary might be partially correct, "It takes a village..." - of reporters hounding Donald to make him keep his word.

QuoteTrump read off 41 organizations that had received $5.6 million from his January fundraiser, including $1 million of his own money. "Most of the money went out quite a while ago," Trump said on Tuesday. "Some of it went out more recently. But all of this has gone out." The Associated Press called each of the 41 organizations, 30 responded, and about half said they only got checks from Trump last week, with the biggest batch going out on or around May 24 — the same day Trump finally spoke with The Washington Post, which had been publicly digging around to account for his donations. Trump's $1 million check went out May 24, too

OK, it is beginning to appear Trump is sort of like Obama - REACTIVE and not PROACTIVE.
IMO - that is not a leader.  Leaders have VISION and strive to accomplish those goals, this has been bugging me for awhile, 'what is it about this guy that's different from great leaders...?'

Help me, please Trump-a-loons, give me a couple of examples, 2-3 of them, Trump's positive plan for the USA.  Forget the Wall (he has), that is reacting to a problem - ANYONE can do that, just where does Trump want to take this country?   Slogans like, 'Make the USA great again' are for shallow thinking fools, slogans mean nothing.  Forget all the knee-jerk reactive responses & tell me about Trump's great vision to make America great.

In case you forget, it was Trump in 1986 who protested Ronald Reagan's tax cuts before congress...

Of course - you think he'd ever deliberately sacrifice a single dollar, that didn't come with a return-on-investment?
...and for his country!?  Never - he'd rather move himself than give this country anything of lasting value.
