For fifty years the world has been practicing insanity desiring to have two state solution with Israel and the Palestinians. The world kept trying this and never accepting the Palestinians are not interested in peace. Trump comes along and immediately figures it out that something differently should be done. He has basically ignored the Palestinians and told them, directly or indirectly, the train was leaving the station and it was up to them to get onboard. Now, he is recruiting the other Arab nations to get onboard and it seems to be working. That is diplomacy.

Exactly! Klinton offered the PLA everything they were demanding and they turned it down. Proof they had no interest in actual peace, it was all about money and extortion.
Trump in essence said FU, we're doing this without you. Now they're left with absolutely nothing, no bargaining chip, no voice.

I think that's the key. Trump did not pretend the players in the middle east were all equal. He did not treat the terrorist as if their opinion mattered as much as the other countries. Obama and the rest bent over backwards for the very people who despised peace and wanted to kill us. I think part of his success was in exposing the terrorist as being completely insignificant, and letting the other countries know how much we value them.

This is a Jared Kushner deal and I'm still skeptical about Jared. Maybe I should be posting this in conspiracy theories but I've been around long enough to have seen several seemingly good peace deals go right down the drain. If I remember correctly some of them even had a time frame to see if they would work out but I'm not sure that those were even agreed to. Bottom line if this deal comes with a 7 year stipulation I'm going to start prepping seriously
