Just another 115 more to go.  They have only filled 12 of the 127 vacant federal court positions.  Whether it is the Senate dragging their feet, or Trump not making the appointments fast enough, I cannot say.  My suspicion is that the Senate is not approving the appointments largely because of Democrat obstructionism, but also because there are some Republicans who do not want to see Trump appoint "too many" federal court positions.

Only six and a half more years to go.

oh man, how true.  I was thinking of this last night.  The enormous destruction of Obama World in just 16 months is mind boggling.  It's more than I expected to happen in 8 years, just based on past presidents and their typical pace on things.

8 years of this will bury the lib-prog-dem-commie movement for a generation or more.  Even if the dems figure out how to steal any part of the 2018/ 2020 elections, their destruction will still be complete in 2020.  And I can't see what they would win, with the bottomed-out trash that they will be running.

I still prefer Reagan the person, but Trump the forward-moving-machine will accomplish even more than Reagan.

The dude is just a high energy, no sleep, no bullshit juggernaut.  I doubt there's ever been a president like this before, maybe won't ever be again.  What a great time to be alive, and a great thing to see.  The night of the 2016 election will probably be a lot of people's best moments on this earth; other than the obligatory family moments, it will probably be mine.  It was a hell of a lot of fun and satisfaction.

Perhaps true, but I still stick to my eternal gratefulness, simply for Trump winning and ending the political careers of -

H Clinton
W Clinton
C Clinton
2 Obamas (maybe 4)
Gore
Kerry
Biden
Podesta
Reid
Holder
Lynch
Rice
Power
Mills
Yates
Brennan
Clapper
Comey
McCabe
100 other FBI-CIA-NSA punks and criminals
Jarrett

And a few amazingly shitty RINO's to boot -

Boehner (never sneaking back in)
Ryan
Flake
Corker
Alexander
Jeb
Kasich
Rubio
Hopefully McConnell

This body of work is more than we could ever have dreamed of, all by itself.  All else is sweet gravy.

Does this help?

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/385728-republicans-confirming-trumps-court-nominees-at-record-pace
Actually, I was referring to this article:  https://www.revealnews.org/blog/backlogs-and-vacancies-could-thwart-plan-for-tougher-immigration-enforcement/

However, it would appear the number should actually be 146 federal judicial vacancies, not 127, as of May 18, 2018.

CourtAuthorizedVacanciesPending
US Court of Appeals:179147
US District Courts:67712470
US Court of International Trade:920
US Court of Federal Claims:1663
US Supreme Court:900
TOTAL:89014680

Which confirms my earlier suspicion that it is the Senate were the delay is occurring, and not with the President.  The Senate still has 80 more judicial appointees to confirm.  The President could only be blamed if their were judicial vacancies and nothing pending in the Senate for authorization, but that clearly is not the case here.

I was actually questioning your claim of only 12 appointments, but based on the fact that you posted an article more than a year old, kind of explains a lot.
Just so you know Glitch, on this forum, it is policy to back up stats with evidence, not just to save the poster embarrassment for posting nonsense, but our forum is a fact-based forum.

You wouldn't know a fact if it hit you in the ass.  It wasn't I who claimed the Senate made 12 appointments.  You might want to actually read the OP.  If you are capable.  There are actually 146 federal judicial vacancies as of today.  But you wouldn't know that because you live in fantasy world were fact and reality don't mean a damn thing.  I've only encountered this kind of willful delusions from religious cults.

It was you that omitted "Appeals" when referring to the Federal Court. You are new, we don't know your style where it's commonplace for you to leave out pertinent information. Your statement stands alone regardless of what you think you were referring to.

Well considering the democrats took their ball and went home and McConnell would rather be alone in the coat room with Jeff Flake than do his job. Things are going somewhat swimmingly.

So what have they done while Trump has been in office, aside from his signing the Tax Bill?
I swear, talk about a do-nothing Congress, but then, I prefer they go away for a year and let the country function without their interference.
