Hiya Solar and everybody!   I think President Trump has simply (once again) trolled the media so the discussion/debate about universal vote by mail will get the attention that it deserves.  On the surface one might think that because so may people vote by mail for Absentee Voting that "what's the big deal".  If, by trolling the media and the rest of the Democrats, Americans begin to pay attention to this issue, then they will come to see that Absentee Voting is accomplished much in the same way as frequent flyers can apply for intensive prescreening and avoid long lines at the airport.  Universal Vote by mail opens the floodgate to abuse and fraud. Even former President Jimmy Carter's Commission on election (in foreign countries) found that universal vote by mail was the absolutely worse thing that any country could do since it was so prone to voter fraud and rigging elections.

Am I correct in believing there would be Constitutional issues with delaying the election? In order for the winner of the election to have a true mandate, there has to be a means to ensure as many voters as possible cast a ballot. Taking into account the pandemic, how do you achieve that without mail-in ballots. There must be a way to ensure the system is fraud proof without discouraging citizens from voting. Many people are concerned about physical distancing at the polls. There must be an alternative.
