Seriously, is anyone really all that surprised? Both party's are inseparable when it comes to blame in attacking TEA, both party's are equally culpable where stifling TEA is concerned. The gop'E is neck deep in this shit as well.
If they had proceeded forward with prosecution, Lerner would have quickly implicated the RNC in all of this.
Nothing will ever come of it, just like nothing will ever happen where Hillary is concerned either.
First question that comes to mind is "an exchange for what?". If he did a deal with the democrats they will screw him over.
Yeah this sucks but my money would be on the horse that runs for Loretta Lynch's DOJ and Comey's FBI. Files could have been shredded, evidence destroyed witness statements altered and various other administrative hijinx that make SUCCESSFUL prosecution quite impossible. Those villains had two months to feed the shredders before Trump took office and even longer before Sessions was confirmed. The whole nest of Vipers embedded in the DOJ were busy little bee's during that time.

That's true. The last administration slow walked everything for every investigation. There's probably little left aside from testimony.
We can only hope for 2 possibilities -
1. This is all playing possum; he's getting them smug and comfy before dropping a brick on their heads from the 10th floor.
2. There's just not enough time or staff to do it all. Maybe the Awan case is so huge that it's the one, the one that will bring 30-50 dems (and hopefully RINO) down. Seems like they're still nibbling around the edges of Hillary's e-mail and foundation, so maybe there are a couple of things being worked.
Hope so. Trump can't be as bad as the Clintons and Obamas, helping them cover it all up. If there was real blackmail info available on Trump, surely he would not have gotten out of the primaries.
Dragging Lois Lerner from her secluded six-figure retirement to testify or (God forbid!) stand trial on federal charges is not a realistic possibility. She was offered up in 2013 as a sacrificial lamb, warmly ensconced in the approving embrace of the Obama administration. She was selected to be the hated public face of the IRS in order to forestall the coming investigation of impropriety. It was designed that Lerner would become the embodiment of IRS corruption, and once she was gone, so would the corruption be gone.
As for me, I still scratch my head in wonder that an obvious asshole like John Koskinen is still employed by the United States of America.
