Well Trump has lost this battle and the Media and Dems can say they officially scored a win, they forced trump to do something. That has never really happened before, not like this, not over a manufactured crisis. Not sure why trump suddenly decided to give the left a win on this...especially when he was poised to expose them.

In my view this was a no win situation for Trump and he made some points. His action defuses the dems' hand wringing over the issue. Now Sessions has been instructed to go to the judge who made the original ruling for a waiver to her decision that allows this. If she does not it puts more pressure on GOPe and democrats to come up with a bill.

He didn't "cave". He just took a bat and hit the Dems over the head, yet again.  Who cares if they separate or not? The issue is, and has been, the illegal immigration itself.

I don't see this as a "Cave" yet another Trump Trap for the idiot leftists. Okay, families get held " Together"....until deported...SO What? NOT RELEASED back into the interior Now the Left will.... (Wait for it) jump up and down about Kids being detained at all and now they and the families should be released Or they will complain about kids and adults being held togeteher with non family members.

Either way the left will complain about what they were demanding Trump do and look even more stupid, asinine and unreasonable.

Regardless if it is a cave or not Trump wins this. The democrats are having a meltdown, painting a portrait out of Germany 1933 yet they refuse to do anything about it. Trump is cleaning up their mess. Aside from that the country is watching several more weeks of the democrats putting illegals ahead of citizens.

That's why they won't do anything legislatively. I don't know if Trump will win this issue but it wwon't cost the GOP in November.
