I just returned a pair of Nike sneakers to the store I purchased them from. The store manager asks why I'm I returning them after six months of wearing them. I stated, "the Nike sneakers hurt my feet everytime I stand for the National Anthem".......

I remember buying the first suede Converse, for around 20 bucks.  My father thought it was insane.  I had always worn the classic Cons or Keds before that.  Which were probably under 10 bucks.

I have several black neighbors.  They think "taking a knee"  during the playing of the National Anthem is perfectly acceptable.  And GET THIS...they are military families.  Go figure.  They love their Nike shoes.  Winter sneaks and summer sandals.  No way would they protest buying Nikes.
