It seems Trump has selected his choice to lead Labor. I don't think we will be hearing much about a $15 per hour minimum wage from this guy.

Hmm... The sit tried to turn off my ad blocker.

Don't know if this was posted yet....

President-elect Donald Trump is expected to name fast-food executive Andy Puzder as labor secretary, according to people familiar with the decision.

Mr. Puzder, chief executive of CKE Restaurants Holdings Inc., the parent company of the Carl's Jr. and Hardee's burger chains, has been a vocal advocate for cutting back regulations he says have stifled growth in the restaurant industry, which represents 10% of the American workforce.

Mr. Puzder, an adviser and contributor to Mr. Trump's campaign, has criticized the Affordable Care Act and has argued against raising the federal minimum wage higher than $9 an hour. Democrats have called for raising the federal minimum wage for as high as $15.

Mr. Puzder is on the board of the International Franchise Association, a trade group that has criticized the Obama administration, saying it attacked the franchising model by implementing regulations that stunt job growth. Instead of focusing on stepping up workplace regulation to create jobs and higher wages, Mr. Puzder would likely call for tools such as an overhaul of the tax system, said Matt Haller, a spokesman for the franchise trade group.

I had posted about this a couple of posts back, but this some good additional info. I am not surprised Mr. Puzder is not an Obama fan.

Fox is reporting that Trump is interviewing Alan Mulally for Sec of State.

What the hell?!?!? Just because someone can run Ford and Beoing doesnt mean they're qualified to the head of foreign affairs for the United States.

The perfect person for the job is right there waiting - John Bolton. And if not Bolton, then John Huntsman..Why the hell is Trump dicking around with people like Mulally, Romney, Corker, and Guiliani.

Think of it as toying with careerist State Department types. In Trump's shoes, I'd toy with them hard. Maybe a fourth general....

I wanna wait to see if this, in fact, is true. If it is Rex Tillerson though, a big oil Russia lover, that's a colossal disaster.

Rex Tillerson Wouldn't be my pick but he is hands down better then Romney. The under reported part of this "leak" is that John Bolton was picked as the #2 guy at state, This is very interesting! Bolton will clean house in that agency. I would rather see him #1 but barring that Bolton as #2 is a very good pick!

what I am waiting for is for trump to pull all this together.  He will have some very strong people that he will have to control.

Remember just before the election all the talk that he would be able to find someone to fill these post? This is one of the most conservative cabinets I've seen baring a few. The next 4 years are going to be very interesting to say the least!
From what I'm seeing now I have no doubt we will see a real constitutionalist for his supreme court appointment. How many federal judgeships are open right now?

Looked it up

looks like 105 if they toss all of Obama's nominees!

As best as I can tell, all the picks so-far are only taking $1.00 per-year as wages.  So's Trump.

That's a good symbolic sign they're together as a unit, going-into 'the first hundred days'.

That should save money for cleaning the WH and Air force 1.

It is clear the Romney deal was a head fake. I don't know much about Tillerson so I will wait and see. I am encouraged that Bolton is supposed to be number 2.
