I still love LNF, and still post over there.  RC just misses us, and doesn't know how to express himself.  I like LNF admin, even though he is owned by a certain poster that he refuses to deal with.  Nevertheless, CPF gives us a medium to expand some ideas that we have, which wouldn't have been possible at LNF.

LNF is my home forum, and CPF is the beach house that I helped build, and now I have my tags registered and mail coming here now.  I still go back to LNF to make sure no one has broken in and slap the squatters around.

And for the record, LNF is a great forum and I will return on occasion, this was never about hurting LNF.
I had been thinking about starting a forum for a couple of years, I approached Bert about it a very longtime ago.
Had it not been for Dan and Taxed, I probably never would have.
So blame them, dammit! ;D

FWIW, I'm not mad at the admin over there, I like the guy, and think he's done a fantastic job over the years, we just disagreed on something, that for me, that is  a core value, that's all, and I have to stand by my principals as a Conservative.

Solar, you don't have to justify this forum to ANYBODY.  RC is a snake.  ANY of us can go to any number of internet forum "companies" and make our own forum.  In fact, I've had a small private forum for many years.  What you created here is an alternative to LNF, which happens to be a great idea.  I still post in LNF, but I prefer to post in here now.

But much of the credit goes to Taxed and Dan, they had alot to do with it's birth.

I tell you one thing,I feel much more at home here even though I do go back to LNF
