Southern Utah University is Harry Reid's alma mater, but some folks connected with the school are not too keen on having the current Senate Majority Leader's name pasted on the school's buildings....

Quote"We had people step up and pledge money towards removing his name. In five days I received pledges totaling $40,000 – in just five days," said Cedar City Councilman Paul Cozzens.

I think there are a couple of places with Obama's name that are moving in that direction. Can't think of a better tribute!

Well, it's the least any of them can do but kinda late, don't you think?  How embarrassing to have anything named after Bozo or Reid!  The lasting effects of having done such would be just too darned bad.  Public opinion does count and can go in different directions.  These two are just beginning to feel the fallout of a people bent on taking back everything that has been stolen from them.

When Reid's name was applied to the center, it was believed donations would be forthcoming, but to this day no money has been given.

"They thought there would substantial donations from Harry Reid's friends," Wyatt said. "But there has never been any money donated for that purpose."

Letters were coming in, saying people were going to stop sending their kids to SUU unless the name was removed.

Stalin had the same issue, but he had something Read didn't have, the ability to follow through with on threat of violence.
Reid has no real friends, only cohorts in ripping off the taxpayer.

Too bad we can't all "pony up" to have him removed from office.  That would be a Tribute to America.
