Reminds me of a historical fact that few people know. 

During the Spanish-American War, there were more American military personnel killed by tainted government meat (courtesy of the Armour Meat Company) than by the war itself.

If ANYBODY depends on the U.S. government, or state governments, to help them, save them, or provide for them, whether it's because of natural disasters, manmade disasters, or some other massive emergency, you are dancing with the DEVIL.

Trouble is, it's just a natural reaction to look towards whatever figures of authority are nearest for protection and support. For some it's an inescapable reaction that dominates their lives for others a reaction they fight against but there it is.
