Oh that can't be good.

It's OK.  When the orderly gets back from her break, they're going to shoot him up and send him back to his room.

Well that's better than shooting him in his room.

I'm just curious.  I can understand at first when he fired everyone up on immigration, but after you learned about his failures and hard left positions, including currently being pro-Amnesty, a bunch of you still supported him.  Why would you do that?  What is wrong in your life, or just mentally, that made you think that was a good idea?

I'm just curious how a conservative could support or endorse a liberal like Trump.  Why would you be mad at a Boehner, or McConnell, then run to Trump?  It would just be weird to call myself a conservative, then support a liberal -- a flaming one at that.

He posited himself as a ratings machine.  It turns out, he probably wasn't even responsible for the ratings.  So, he holds no cards with the media anymore.  He continues to preach the polls, even during a concession speech for a race he just lost that had him up in the polls.  He called people a liar about him saying he wanted Kelley off the debate stage, even while he had the Tweet still up.  Can you not make the association between these actions and the mind of a crazy person?

So, "conservative", if you want to repent and kneel down, you may do so here before us.  We may offer forgiveness and re-bless you as a conservative, if you beg hard enough.

To answer for myself, the answer to the title question is yes, I was embarrassed after I heard Trump say he would implement universal healthchare and for some reason his would be better, whatever that means. And when he started talking about punishing companies for choosing outsourcing and subsidizing of certain industries that are politically advantageous for his support that was when I broke with the "Cant stump the Trump" movement.

But he does resonate with people who are revisionist and want a total change to the status quo, and I don't think Trump will be the last person to do this as the next election I think it will become more extreme from here on out until it climaxes either with a civil unrest on a large scale though short of civil war as the current development is unsustainable as too many are against the status quo of leftism. A part of me want to see the corporations punished harshly, a part of me want to see them squirm as they supported leftism for so long while reaping the benefits of capitalism while protected under corporatism/socialism that I don't care about the economy I just want to see them pay. The same with the political opposition if a person like Trump would become president a part of me want to see the opposition executed or punished as terrorist or dissident, I want to see the muslims renounce Islam or be deported/sent to re education camps.

Because if the classical liberal/Federalist/Conservative/Capitalist/Libertarian politicians are not men enough to stand against the leftist then me and people like myself which are only growing numbers every year will give our support to the "right wing" totalitarians be they Monarchy or "Fascist" as long as they represent our social conservative values we are willing to sacrifice economic values with the exception of private property rights. And the current climate in Europe and the Trump supporters in the US this is becoming a real possibility when politicians such as Ted Cruz fails to deliver or Allen West refuse to fight.

Jimmy Carter endorsed Trump because he will be easy to manipulate. I don't understand why Trump even has supporters now on the right.

I didn't scroll thru five pages of comments so don't know if this has been addressed but since Conservatives don't support trump I think the OP's question is a moot point

One more liberal President in 2016 will mean the irreversible, eventual and total demise of our democracy. The rise and fall of democracy IS past the "apathy stage" at this moment. If this  momentum continues on its present path, restoration of democracy will require the least desired of actions.
