That was always my thinking.  The leadership needs to pay a price. McConnell needs to be thrown out (but he won't). Him becoming Majority leader only vindicates his war on the Tea Party.

Exactly.  T-Bone seems to be OK with pushing McConnell over the finish line, even though he conspired with Reid to strip the Senate Republicans to hose Ted Cruz, but hey, he has an R next to his name, and Grimes has a D.  Reid pulled off one of the most forgivable moves any "leader" could do in that position, but T thinks a freshman Grimes would be more dangerous.

No, T-bone thinks two more years of Majority Leader Hairy Weed would be bad. This Senate majority ain't in the bag yet, kids. If it comes down to just one seat, supporting Grimes could be the same as handing the Kenyan the keys to the Supreme Court nominations -- and confirmations -- for the next two years.
