Fresh humiliation for eurozone as China says it will bail out debt-ridden nations
China has said it is willing to bail out debt-ridden countries in the euro zone using its $2.7trillion overseas investment fund.

Lets talk about this..we the united states of america...who's dear sweet corporations HAD to go to China to escape the horrid demands and the crushing financial burden american workers were putting on them.
   We the United States of America is in debt for 13trillion dollars, we have anywhere from 8 to 18% unemployment depending on the area.
Now heres china with a 2.7 trillion investment fund who is going to bail EUROPE thats right china wants to bail out EUROPE..the USA cant bail out itself and china can bail out EUROPE and it finances most of our debt....

     THANK YOU AMERICAN CORPORATIONS you are all true patriots that care about your country and your fellow americans...You are absolutely greedless entities that have others needs foremost in your hearts. You provide employment for the very needy chinese.

As to your Honda, if you really understood economics, you'd know it was a subsidized car.
Not only by our Gov, but other Countries around the World, Honda doesn't have a plant here because the workers are better, or the climate, they do it to appease the American public and Gov.
Japan could easily build that very same car in Mexico, and sell it here, but because of politics and appearance, they build it here at a loss instead.
Keep in mind, all the parts are imported, it's merely assembled here.

Me? I bought a Subaru totally made in Japan, and a Dodge, God knows where the trucks parts were made, but the diesel engine was American made.

I'd like to buy American too, but with min wage way above other burgeoning Countries, it's virtually impossible to compete with those Countries.
So who's fault is it really, is it corporations? No, it's the Gov/liberals, and us, you and I, we buy cheaper products.
You see, when the Gov plays with the free market, they fuck it up totally.
They, along with Unions, demanded a min wage increase, all for the benefit of Unions, but we know Unions only had the workers best interests in mind when they and the Dims raised the min wage, right?

So yes Zip, it all falls back in the fuckin Unions, not the corporations.

There's no such thing as an "American-made" automobile, hasn't been for years. The automobile business is very complex, and cars and trucks are assembled from parts that come from an ASTOUNDING variety of places.

Honda America's main manufacturing and assembly plant is maybe five miles down the road from me, near Marysville, Ohio. I've worked there, though as a contractor employee, not as a Honda worker. Their North American Research and Development plant is also here, a world-class facility that includes state-of-the-art test tracks and crash test facilities. Thirty miles northwest of here is Honda America's transmission plant, and thirty or so miles west of that is Honda America's engine plant, which turns out over three million engines a year.

Many of the most popular Hondas and Acuras are produced right here, from parts made right here. The engines are generally based on aluminum mined in North America, and the steel in the cars comes from lots of places, including North America. Japan has practically ZERO in the way of natural resources. The one and only reason Japan went to war against us in 1941 was to secure natural resources outside their home islands. They didn't want OUR resources, but only WE stood in the way of their aggression.

Even Hondas made and sold in Japan are made mostly with materials shipped to Japan from other countries. The same can be said for Toyotas and Nissans and all the other cars made and sold there.

Yes, Honda workers are not unionized, but that's their choice, and the ones I know are quite happy with their situation. No, they don't get the lavish medical and pension benefits that the Detroit carmakers once showered on their workers. Why should they? The Honda workers I know make good money and get good benefits and good treatment from their employer. They DON'T WANT a union, ANY union.

All that being said, I just think we can afford to take Honda out of the discussion. Toyota and Nissan and even BMW are in pretty much the same position with their US operations. US car companies have become increasingly foreign-based in recent decades. Foreign car companies have become increasingly US-based in recent decades. So what? They all make cars in North America to sell to North Americans and the get most of their materials from... North America!
