Oh, woe is us, the Cartels are taking over Arizona, but it's OK, the Feds will make them voting citizens and they'll be US cartels. Maybe they can be taxed into submission?

Arizona Under Siege By Mexican Drug Cartels

The Homeland Security memo said a group of "15, very well equipped and armed sicarios complete with bullet proof vests" had been sent into the valley. It said the assassins would be disguised as "groups of 'simulated backpackers' carrying empty boxes covered with burlap into the Vekol Valley to draw out the bandits." Once identified, the memo said, "the sicarios will take out the bandits."

The federal government has posted signs along Interstate 8 in the Vekol Valley warning travelers the area is unsafe because of drug and alien smugglers, and the local sheriff says Mexican drug cartels now control some parts of the state.

Actually good, let them kill themselves off, a drug war in Mexico is the best thing that could happen in our interests. Let the scum eliminate each other then move in an stomp on whatever side wins.

However, we must take steps to protect the American public, this is not happening now and won;t not with the marxist menace in charge.

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between Mexican drug cartels controlling areas in the U.S. southwest and gang-bangers controlling large sections of most major American cities.

Oh yeah.  CITIZENSHIP.  That's the difference, I guess.  The result is the same (innocent people killed).  The "permissibility" is the same (law enforcement looking the other way).

The gangs are the cartels end result. The gangs act as street agents, selling, enforcing, protecting etc the "product", whatever territory it claims. That is why these guys are at war in the US and in Mexico, trying to control territory an monoploy whatever scam is going on, not just drugs but smuggling aliens, stolen credit cards, counterfeit products, stolen cars, prostitutes, gambling, counterfeit money, gold, silver...
