So he says he won't run again, even though he should, because it's unconstitutional.  Didn't he say the same thing about bypassing Congress for the Dream Act before he went ahead and did it anyway? His excuse was that Congress wouldn't act so he had to. In other words, necessity justifies overriding the Constitution.

Will it then surprise you if he suddenly runs for a third term 'out of necessity'?

If he goes for a third term he will not do it through the electoral process.

I tend to agree. If he did try to run, he'd probably get his wings clipped by the supremes.

Agree. The amendment is quite clear.

The next question if he tried to run is would it be as a democrat or independent? The Clintons know this is their last shoot. They would never fold up the tent. I am not sure he could get the democrat nomination.

The State governments wouldn't sit still for that. And while I'm sure the Obamaites out there would just swoon.

I think the majority of the populace wouldn't sit still for that either.

Michael Savage proposed the same thing today on his radio program.

He talked about the "wording" of the law limiting the President to two terms.  He then talked about how that wording can be challenged.  He also noted Obama's tendency to circumvent the law already.  Why not again?

Having said that, I agree with others on this forum.  He could not do it by the electoral process.  He would need to totally flip our form of government.  And I don't think we have progressed far enough to accommodate Obama on this.

The worst President in history, running again by 'necessity' ?

Too gruesome to contemplate.

JUst say he lets (by aiding) Hillary get charged for her destruction of evidence..and than since there would be no VIABLE Democrat candidates...he steps up to the plate for the Democrats, reluctant of course and just being helpful out of NEED and being a good guy (they twisted his arm and he had to do it...yuck)..anyone think the MSM would be alarmed or would they be supportive?  We know where the MSM would fall.  Could happen and I've considered for quite some time that the slick Chicago political machine will figure a way...scary!

I think Sanders' favorability would top his from the start.  The cat's already out of the bag.

The little Marxist is dreaming if he thinks the nation would tolerate a third failed term.
But if he tried to steal a third term? Civil war would break out, the rule of law would collapse in our society, especially since he broke the biggest one of all, stealing an election via Martial law, because that's the only way he could delay the inevitable.

I agree. That is what would happen in America. The problem is, you don't live in America any more.

Andrew Wilko did a humorous impression of Bernie Sanders today on the radio that was off the cuff and hilarious, Sanders, holding up Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, as our role models, after being asked, "What exactly is Socialism?"  Sanders corrected him, "Democratic Socialism." Sanders is the fool on the hill who should have stayed put.

Bernie Sanders leads the way to perdition for the Democratic Party!

I think Hussein has been setting us up for this since Day one in Office, how can I be President For Life ala Idi Amin Dada....another great African.

He might try for it "legally" if they can manufacture some striking crisis and he of course can 'save' us with a third term.....failing that, I think he has the means to stage a martial law power grab...first disarm and dismiss Local Law Enforcement, the Stateside Military is already disarmed, then use his army of 15 million or so illegals to back him up.

Why else wouldn't they want Military personnel armed on state side bases or recruiting offices when there is a demonstrated threat?
