"...The cliques in Washington are because the U.S. trades very little with Russia and they have no grasp of limits of any kind. This is cynicism made flesh when you consider Europe's vulnerabilities. The contagious economic and social crisis is already spreading to nations near Russia's borders.

As Germans and other Europeans understand, take down this beast and the blood will spatter everywhere. Now you can see, maybe, why one consequence of the Ukraine crisis is a serious deterioration of relations between America and those known as "the allies," a term that has masked many complications since the Cold War's onset.

As to the point of it all, it gets bitterer the more we learn of Ukraine and its arriving future.

Long ago, an English diplomat in Tokyo wrote to his Foreign Office in London, "The Japanese can neither love the Americans nor endure being loved by them." It is dead on the fate of Ukrainians so far as one can make out. All signs are they are in for the suffocating embrace. Here comes the neoliberal order. It will be very weird to watch...."

Maybe Russia's problem isn't the US so much.....and much more their dumbass propensity for being taken over by dictators and criminal thugs.

That, and their foolass embrace of all the latest fads rooted in stupid.   Communism, the mafia, the KGB retreads, etc.

It's like a continuous (150-year) showing of the Karl Marx Brothers + Keystone Commie Cops.

Try some democracy and individual rights before all the complaining and blaming, gulash.

We Europeans are in majority strictly against any cooperation with Russians. That's why we implemented sanctions against that barbaric nation. Putin is dictator who supresses oposition everywhere he can and he is absolutelly against any liberty and freedom in Russia. He wants to export Russian autocracy in Ukraine which he already did when Russia annexed Crimea.

Rusians are very primitive, autocratic nation who do not belive in liberty and in respecting basic human rights. Russians has shown its true nature when they enslaved people of Eastern Europe for 50 years after WW2.

Lots of opposition leaders are forced to work in labour camps in Siberia. They even put in one of those labour camps members of Russian music group and freedom fighters Pussy Riot.

Is this what you want to support?

Not all Europeans are against Russia, Putin is not Stalin, the Russian Federation is not the Soviet Union.

I'm happy to see Russians embrace their past, the Tsars were great leaders and defenders of Christendom, even Ivan the Terrible was a great leader. The leftist elites want war with Russia, most likely to cull the conservatives, kill as many strong indo-europeans as possible to eliminate the opposition and weaken Europe further for Muslim/Socialist integration/synthesis.

It's not the socialists that will be marching off to a potential war

Putin is a ruthless pragmatic, not surprising concerning his past, but I have more respect for Putin than 99% of the european fatcat communists that are directly hurting my family and people financially, legislative and soon existentially with Islam synthesis.

The Russians has never been fully European, even after Peter the Great. But that doesn't matter, they are still our slavic friends and even though I don't want them to work in Norway I still want to trade with them and do commerce to both benefit.

MS, what do I make of these reports that Russia is threatening Norway and a few other countries in the area?
I know why Putin is doing it and I just grin watching the libs all a twitter over it, but I wondered if you could give me some insight how European Nations see his bloviation through using the Military fly by or his use of submarines.

Of course he's done it here with Venezuela and gotteh away with it. Had he done this during the cold war, he'd have regretted it, but he knew our Marxist is nothing but a paper tiger child, and wanted to expose him, and did.
But making our child potus look the idiot he is, is of no consequence, since most of the country hates him.

But how does Europe see Putin's supposed aggression? As an actual threat, or for what it really is, someone poking the fat kid just to get a rise?

Not all but majority. Putin is dictator who suppreses the oposition and that's enough for me.

Yes indeed, it's Russia reminding Europe that they are still a force to be reckoned with and not pushed around by metrosexual pedo rings in Brussels. Russia has done this many times before, during the cold war they would send an army group to "Kirkenes" in the north, line up dozens of tanks, rocket batteries and artilleries make us mobilize our forces and start laying minefields preparing scorched earth before they pulled back into Russia sending a clear message.

Most Europeans think Putin is a medieval lunatic for sending flights across the baltic sea, nobody likes what is happening in Crimea or the Ukraine. But at the end of the day the baltic states are as important to Europe as South Ossetia or Abkhazia.

What a ludicrous statement, there are many democracies that horrible as well. And what opposition are you referring to? Liberals? Gays? Communists? Corporatists?

Ou you don't like corporatists? What kind of conservative you are?

I'm reffering to political opposition. We both know how is the policy of EU and Sweden towards Russia. Europeans are in majority agains Russia that's why we implemented economic sanctions against them.

Putin will ends like all dictators preety soon.

If you have to ask his question, then you truly are clueless about the terminology.  True TP conservatives / constitutionalists would hate federal corporatism.  It's the antithesis to pure capitalism, which isn't corrupted by govt influences.

Socialists & Communists are among the biggest corporatists.  Of course it's always their buddies and supporters, a la Obama-GE-Immelt.  Especially when combined with nationalizing industry.
