Solar and I were actually talking about this on the phone the other day.  It's a result of the Marxists taking over the school and media, but our American DNA rejects what it really is.

Our latest poll found 39% of voters favor socialism. And I grew up in the Cold War era. We knew that was the evil ideology that destroyed the Soviet Union. And Ronald Reagan was convinced that we would outlast them because their system was internally inconsistent, and he was right.

When I began to look a little deeper, I quickly realized that when people today say they like socialism, they are not at all talking about what Bernie Sanders or AOC are promoting. Total disconnect from that.

Davis: Yes.

Rasmussen: In fact, most people who say they like socialism don't think of it as an economic ideology. And for people who might think of The Heritage Foundation as the ideas they want to associate with, there are some things about socialism today that will shock them.

A majority of people who say they like socialism today think the country would be better off with less government involvement in the economy.

Only 1 out of 3 people who say they like socialism think it leads to higher taxes and a more powerful government.

They are not thinking of what we used to think of is socialism and they are not thinking of it as a competition to free markets. In fact, 80% of people who like socialism also like free markets.

So there's common ground instead of saying, "You're wrong," we should say, "Well, yeah, let's talk about where the market can get involved."

Davis: Yeah.

Rasmussen: Second thing is, there is a difference between supporting the idea of socialism and supporting socialist policies.

So when you talk about something like "Medicare for All," Americans want to make sure everybody has access to health care. Americans want to have a system that makes sure that everybody can get some decent insurance. And if you ask about Medicare for All, it does well.

However, if you say, what about, and this is in Bernie Sanders' plan, getting rid of private insurance companies? Only 18% of voters support that.

People want to have more choices in their life. They want to have more choices about health care, not less.

And ... if you can provide more choices, you've won those people over. And that's the difference. So people aren't looking for socialist policies to limit their choices.

That's exactly what we were talking about, that those who want socialism, also want small govt. Talk about being ignorant of history.

The entire discussion was caught on camera.  The student and the teacher are unidentified in the video.

The student asks the teacher why he kicked him out of class.

"You aren't being inclusive," the teacher said on the video. "I know what the authority thinks and point of view. It's very clear that we make no discrimination on the grounds. I'm sorry what you choose to make an issue about a point that is contrary to policy," he added.

"I think it's silly to have anything other than two genders," the student responded. "It's not scientific what so ever. I stated something that I believe in and you kicked me out of class. I wasn't making a discrimination. I was simply saying there are two genders, male and female. Anything else is a personal identification," he said.



The teacher then fired back telling the student to "keep that opinion to your own house and not in this school. I am stating what is national school authority policy," he said.

"This is an inclusive school. I'm more than one gender in this country. That is my opinion and that is an opinion which is acceptable in the school. I'm afraid that yours, which you are saying there is no such thing as anyone other than male or female is not inclusive. You're choosing to make an issue about this," the teacher added.  "You're making bad choices."

The student then asks if he can go to the research area to resume his classwork, but is told to stay in the room.

"Thanks for wasting my time," the student said as the teacher walks out the door of the room.

The video concludes with the teacher stopping in his tracks, turning around and telling the student, "I am not allowed to tell you how much of my time you've wasted."

Honestly, I don't believe after 8 years of Trump, neither the Dims nor socialism will have a prayer for the next 50 years, just long enough to yank the schools away from the Marxists.
Assuming we do that. Vouchers and private schools aren't enough, we need to trash the curriculum and reset it back 50 years, when we taught that there was but one working system of govt, a Republic and Communism/Socialism are evil, a cancer to our way of life!

Yup.  Importing then harvesting anti-Americanism just needs to be cut off.  Teach our history, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and learn something productive to contribute to our economy.

I remember my 8th grade teacher showing us his personal collection of slides he took during WWII, pics I've never seen since, truly fascinating how men that loved the country were willing to sacrifice so much to fight evil.
At the end of the presentation, he actually said: "Hitler had some really good ideas, he just went about it the wrong way".
I told my dad what he said, dad went straight over to the school and ripped him a new asshole. My dad fought in the same war against the Nazi, and in Midway.
After their discussion, the teacher had it out for me.
Dad rectified that little issue as well.
