Title: The Radical Immigration Act of l965
Post by: SmilinJack on December 30, 2012, 06:32:37 PM
One of the greatest acts of treason in our history occurred in l965 and most do not even know about it.

I am speaking of..........................The 1965 act that marked a radical break from the immigration policies of the past. The law as it stood then excluded Asians and Africans and preferred northern and western Europeans over southern and eastern ones. At the height of the civil rights movement of the 1960s the law was seen as an embarrassment by, among others, President John F. Kennedy, who called the then-quota-system "nearly intolerable". After Kennedy's assassination, President Lyndon Johnson signed the bill at the foot of the Statue of Liberty as a symbolic gesture.

In order to convince the American populace - the majority of whom were opposed to the act - of the legislation's merits, its liberal proponents assured that passage would not influence America's culture significantly. President Johnson called the bill "not revolutionary", Secretary of State Dean Rusk estimated only a few thousand Indian immigrants over the next five years, and other politicians, including Senator Ted Kennedy, hastened to reassure the populace that the demographic mix would not be affected; these assertions would later prove wildly inaccurate. In line with earlier immigration law, the bill also prohibited the entry into the country of "sexual deviants", including homosexuals. By doing so it crystallised the policy of the INS that had previously been rejecting homosexual immigrants on the grounds that they were "mentally defective" or had a "constitutional psychopathic inferiority".

And inviting immigrants other than NorthWestern Europeans was "treason" because. Feel free to explain why exactly a Southern/East Asian or an African is a "worse" immigrant than a Socialist European.

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. I can think of logical, non racial, reasons to prefer a European over a South Asian. I can think of reasons to prefer a North European over a Southern European. Although I would also like him to answer the question of when he fixates on Black and Hispanic crime, is that for economic or for ethnic reasons.

He's showing a pattern of hatred, something not needed on this forum.

Do you believe this was good for the country?  Are you saying "Our strength is in our diversity"?

The TRUTH is, nations are most successful when they are a RELATED family sharing a common language, culture and religion.  The further a country deviates from that, the greater the strife.

If you're asking me, I don't give a damn where people come from, as long as they assimilate, learn our language and culture and become productive citizens.
It's the left that believes in separate cultures, not the Right.

Hitler made the same argument for "Ein Volk". The United States ha always been different. Even when they were British colonies, the US consisted of a number of different ethnic and religious groups, from the Germans of Pennsylvania to the Dutch of New York. From the Calvinists of Massachusetts to the Catholics of Maryland.

" For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support." -

One of the big problems with immigrants now is that way toooooo many of them do not assimilate.  The see America as the Cash Cow and little else.  Back when America was trully a great country...people yearned to be American...to learn to speak english, to learn to play baseball, to fit in and become a Real American....now they bring their politics and religion with them...no folks it is not Christianity....and they send every dime they can back to the old country and expect Americans to learn their language and their culture and some even demand we convert to their religion.  You getting my drift here?

So immigrants should be forced to interact with people other than their own race/religion/color etc...

Brilliant

Hey Boo......You never told me the difference between a Real  Republican and a liberal Republican....never mind I will tell you

.

* Pc repubs  do much of their shopping at Target and Wal-Mart. So do Republicans, but they don't admit it.

* Republican parents have no problem buying toy guns for their kids.  PC Repubs refuse to do so. That is why their kids pretend to shoot each other with dolls.

* Republicans spends hundreds of dollars and hours of work decorating the yard with outdoor lights and Christmas displays. PC Repubs  save their time and money, and drive around at night to look at *other* people's lights.

PC Repubs favorite Christmas movie is "Miracle on 34th Street." Republicans' favorite Christmas movie is "It's a Wonderful Life." Right-Wing Republicans' favorite Christmas movie is "Die Hard."

Republicans always take the price tag off expensive gifts before wrapping. PC repubs also remove price tags off pricey gifts ... and reposition them to make sure they are seen.

* Republicans wear wide red ties and green sports jackets during the festive season. PC Repubs do too, all year round.

* pc repubs  favorite Christmas carol is "Deck the Halls." Young Democrats' favorite Christmas carol is "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer." Republicans' favorite Christmas carol is "White Christmas." Young Republicans' favorite Christmas carol is "White Christmas."

* Cheapskate Republicans buy an artificial Christmas tree. pc repubs buy a real tree, but they wait until the week before Christmas when the lots lower their prices.

* Republicans see nothing wrong with letting their children play "Cowboys and Indians." PC repubs don't either, as long as the Indians win.

* Republicans first began thinking like Republicans when they stopped believing in Santa Claus. PC repubs became PC because they never stopped believing in Santa Claus.

Sorry cupcake but "Republican" is just a political affiliation. It can mean anything. I am a Conservative. Conservatism is a set of beliefs. Therefore I do not belong to any party. Oh and Conservatives do not group people by race or religion or skin color. That is why it was obvious from the beginning that you were no Conservative.

Boo and Taxed came here when I started this forum, and believe me, they can run circles around your ass where Conservative ideals are concerned.
You came here with an attitude that somehow you knew more about Conservatism than an entire forum full of Conservatives, then proceeded to get your ass handed to you at every turn.
But to close the deal, you proved yourself to be nothing more than a bigot, a racist and an affront to reason.
I see no reason to keep you around any longer, you bring nothing to the forum, you are an insulting insufferable turd.
