Libs PP coming back to bite them in the ass. Keep in mind, this article is, to the date, one-year-old, but it's as if was written today, which only proves, the left is in far more danger than they possibly ever could have imagined.

Article aside, I've been perusing the higher quality lib sites, not your run of the mill Dump or Washpo crap, but the sites where the self-proclaimed " enlightened" reside.
What I find interesting, is, aside from the denial of reality, they've come to the conclusion they''re out of power for a long, Long ass time.
The suggestions for success vary, from strategies to take back the House, none of which take into account they have no candidates, or the fact that the country actually like Trump.
But they do share one thing, the glory days are over.

Now for the article, and damn if it isn't spot on!

The progressive strategy of investigating President Donald Trump nonstop for Russian collusion or obstruction of justice or witness tampering so far has produced no substantial evidence of wrongdoing.

The alternate strategy of derailing the new administration before it really gets started hasn't succeeded either, despite serial efforts to sue over election results, alter the Electoral College vote, boycott the inauguration, delay the confirmation of appointments, demand recusals, promise Trump's impeachment or removal through the 25th Amendment, and file suit under the Emoluments Clause.

A third strategy of portraying Trump as a veritable monster likewise so far has failed in four special elections for House seats.

Apparently progressives have accepted the idea that Barack Obama's formula of twice winning the Electoral College is not yet transferrable to other progressive candidates such as Hillary Clinton. And they probably have concluded that Obama's progressive political agenda proved unpopular with voters by 2010 and had to be implemented by ad hoc executive orders -- presidential prerogatives now utilized by Donald Trump to overturn the ones Obama issued.

A fourth potential pathway to power would be a return to Bill Clinton's pragmatic agendas of the 1990s. But apparently progressives find that centrist remedy worse than the malady of losing elections -- given that during the Obama tenure, more than 1,000 state and local offices were lost to Republicans, in addition to majorities in the House and Senate, and a majority of governorships and legislatures.

What next?

Some on the left think they have new road to success - get rid of ICE. Damn, how willing is the left to destroy our country to try to regain a little power?

I know, that one is hilarious because the majority of the voting public loves what ICE is accomplishing.

Here's another article on their delusions, though a bit dated, it shows just what they were planning with the Mueller investigation, never once considering it would Poomerang on them.

How Clinton Can Become President After Mueller's Trump-Russia Investigation Proves Collusion:

In an article published on Medium, Harvard's constitutional law professor and former Democratic presidential candidate, Lawrence Lessig, explained how Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Trump-Russia investigation could lead to the Democratic Party presidential candidate Hilary Clinton becoming president. Although Lessig admitted that his suggestions are based on an unlikely "what if" scenario, he said they offer Clinton a clear but unprecedented route to the White House if Mueller's investigation proves that Trump colluded with Russia to influence the general election.

Lessig's suggestion is causing a stir among Clinton supporters who believe that his "what if" scenario is more than just hypothetical.

Using the stupidest people in America for blind, dumb support is good when you have the power.

Not so good when you're trying to regain it.  Even with spastic violence, suicidal anger, self-destroying hate, there's just not enough of the stupids to win elections when you're exposed like they have been lately.

Carter won because of Nixon fatigue.  Clinton won because of Perot.  Obama got in only as a rebound from GW fatigue.  The dems haven't won an election based on ideas or beliefs in over 50 years.  Since their beliefs today are worse than they've ever been ...... good luck with that.

Excellent point, especially when the media controls the narrative as well.
Now that Trump controls both, they have no idea what to do. Which leads me to another story out there.
I'll post this in its own thread.
