Why do you put quotations around "unfair"?  Are you denying that women have traditionally been oppressed?
More than anyone else - as in female members of a given society were more oppressed by "someone" than male members of a given society?

Don't fall over yourself, Solar.  You accuse me of being a "barrel full of leftist propaganda", and then quote Fox News as a credible source of information.

You know, the same news agency that claims science cannot explain how the tides work?  Or that Mars has no moons?  Or that there are WMDs in Iraq?

Now, they conduct the brilliant study of guessing employee gender based on their names, and then comparing salaries without controlling for performance, job description or working hours.

--------

What's even worse about the article is that they do not give the impression of really caring about the income gap.  They don't say:

It's disgusting and unfair that the hard working women under Obama's administration are paid less than their male counterparts for the same work.

But rather:

HA!  See!  Women are paid less!  Liberals are hypocrites!

It's like the complaint that black babies and female babies are more likely to be aborted.  Whenever conservatives bring it up, none of them actually care about the discriminatory "genocide".  They simply use it as a "Ha!  Gotcha!" hypocrisy.

I guess you are incapable of reading bylines....

Uh no. We do bring up the point since Leftoids "claim" to care so much about women and minorities., while at the same time supporting the abortion responsible for the discrimination. It's not a "gotcha", it's supposed to be one of those moments when you stop and think. Conservatives on the other hand, being pro life, are against ALL abortion even blacks and girls.

I'm not pro-life, as I agree with the death penalty.

I am however anti-abortion as a form of birth control.

This is a complete misrepresentation of fact. It is not the position of the "News Agency" it is the statement of one of its employees - Bill O'Reilly. But, even then, it is playing fast and loose with what was actually said.

O'Rielly actually acknowledged that the moon is responsible for the tide - he gave the letter writer that point. Then he went on to ask, "Where did the Moon come from?"

Where did it all come from?

QuoteOr that Mars has no moons?

Clearly a mistake on O'Reilly's part, however the discussion was not one about science, but about religion and faith. However, there are distinct differences between Earth's moon and the moons of Mars - not the least of which is their smaller size. And, of course, since there is no free standing water on Mars - no tides!

QuoteOr that there are WMDs in Iraq?

Do you really want to go there? I can fill a page with quotes from DEMOCRATS (From Ted Kennedy to Bill Clinton to Madeline Albright and many, many more) who spoke ON THE RECORD of the dangers posed to the rest of the world by Iraq's WMDs!
