I'll admit I think I know what the Logan Act is but I'm not sure who can be prosecuted over the Logan Act. I guess I really don't know what the Logan Act Law is all about. I'll give it a shot.

The Logan Act Law is someone who is not authorized to speak on or make deals on behalf of the United States of American with a foreign country.....yes/no....?

If yes.....Is it only a civilian that is in violation or can a elected official be in violation of the Logan Act....?

I did do some research and still I'm at an impasse as to who can be in violation of the Logon Act.

Now from my understanding, and I can be wrong, John Kerry was in clear violation of the Logan Act but Lady Justice lifted up her blindfold to take a peek at who was in violation. Once she realized who it was she went about her business.
