The GOP Still Doesn't Get It

This just pisses me off, the RINO are so entrenched in the party, that they refuse to see what is going on around them.
More than ever, we need to rid the party of these liberals, Newt did a lot for the party, but the one big mistake he made was to let these scum switch parties and join the GOP.

QuoteYou're not going to believe what happened this week. Just when I thought Republicans in Washington were beginning to get the message, they went back to business as usual.

As you know, Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski lost the Republican primary to her conservative challenger, Joe Miller, in a fair fight. But instead of graciously conceding and endorsing the Republican nominee, Murkowski announced that she will continue her campaign as an independent write-in candidate.

Senate Republicans held a closed-door meeting Wednesday afternoon to elect someone to replace Senator Murkowski as the top Republican on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Or so we thought.

Rather than taking away Murkowski's leadership position on the committee, Senate Republicans decided to let her keep it. One senator after another stood up to argue in favor of protecting her place on the committee — a position she will no doubt use in her campaign against Joe Miller, the conservative Republican nominee.

Much more```

And this is exactly why the Republican Party must be revolted as the first step in regenerating our country.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

This is the very thing that created the Tea Party, the entrenchment of libs in the GOP.
Now more than ever, we need to support Tea Party candidates, even at the risk of Dims winning.

Thank God for the Tea Party!  The Republican Party has been compromised by RINOS like Murkowski and Snowe and Collins and Graham and Chaffee and Specter.  These people need to get the message.........

Either revert to your CONSERVATIVE ideals and values and beliefs, or GET THE HELL OUT!

I find it so interesting that the terms "conservative" and "Republican" no longer go together.

My father would turn over in his grave.
I pray, not wish because I have a God not a Genie.

In a word? Corruption!
The GOP has been corrupted by these RINO, and the money that bought them their seats, also controls what they think, do and say.
They support her, because the same money that put them in office, also put her in power.

My thought is, they are seeing the light, and their numbers are threatened and need to keep all the members in their little club as possible.
The more we take out, the more chance we have of getting rid of Steele and the rest of these scum.

What do you mean by "revolted"?

And here goes the Rep Party shooting itself in the foot again.  Do any of you conservatives who so hate the RINOs care at all about your country?  Do you really think that another two years of a dem controlled Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of our govt is going to be better than having a few RINOs elected as part of the Rep party?

Don't you realize that all Reps want to repeal, get rid of, kill off the Health Care Bill?  Do you mean to tell me that your hate toward RINOs is so strong that you're willing to risk another two years of Obama ramming more and more socialist crap into our lives?

If I may, what a bunch of jerks the Rep party can be.  Do a better job of selling your conservative ideas instead of trashing fellow Reps.  Perhaps your spokespeople aren't as good as your ideas.  Honest to Pete, some of them are so stiff that I want to throw something at my tv just to shake them up.

If you don't like RINOs, then tr;y to convince them of your ideas.  If you can't convince them (us, I should say) then you'll never be able to convince Independents, Libertarians and the moderate dem that conservative ideas are better than any other.  You'll lose more elections than you'll win.

Where in our Constitution does it say that only Conservatives need apply?

Conciliation is what got us in the mess were in today.
Always trying to find common ground, it's time to stop, look at what happened with TARP, that was the act of a liberal, not a Conservative.

Honestly, I don't think we need to worry about losing a few seats to the Dims, if it means purging a few RINO, we will still take over the Senate and possibly the House, but if we take both and still have a bunch of RINO in the party, it will be more of the same.

Conciliation, or compromise, is the basis of our system of government. If you're not willing to compromise you tend to have little input to the system and if admiring your moral firmness gets you off then enjoy the buzz. You won't be doing much else, least of all participating in the passing of law.

And it won't be "more of the same" if the RINOs aren't purged from the party. It's nice to think the worst of those you disagree with but you'd be wrong. Fact is, electoral results matter and even people on the other side of the aisle, much less the RINOs, notice when their ideas are losing.

Have you seen any anti-gun legislation recently? Care to speculate why that is? I've got a theory but you have to accept that lefties, Democrat or Republican, are capable of appreciating which way the wind's blowing. If it's true for Second Amendment law i don't see any reason why it can't be true for the broader political sweep.

Yes, it's true, there will always be compromise, politics has always been about back room deals, but the problem of the last two decades have been capitulation towards the left, it's time for compromise alright, but not on our part, it's time the left gave some ground.
