In choosing what they hope to be the long-term successor to Max Baucus of Montana, the Dems are doing their best Keystone Kops impression. First, in an obviously political shenanigan, they shuffled Baucus -- who, along with Nancy Pelosi, is recognized as a primary author and proponent of the widely hated KenyaCare -- off to China before he got his ass kicked at the polls. His politically-appointed replacement was John Walsh, a nice enough fellow and former state Lieutenant Governor, but also one suffering from Joe Biden SyndromeTM, being genetically predisposed to stealing the work of others and calling it his own. Walsh's appointment was meant to put a popular Democrat in a position to retain a seat that an unpopular Democrat (Baucus) was about to lose.

Walsh's plagiarism implosion led to an impromptu mini-convention and now there's... Amanda Curtis.

You know. THE Amanda Curtis. The one with the nose-stud. (Hey, in Montana, that kinda stands out.)

Every time I read about this woman, I dissolve into laughter. The DNC would be better off nominating my stupid cat -- and my cat's a conservative. Honest to Christ, they would have been MILES ahead to simply leave the slate empty.

HERE is a pretty good writeup on what's going on out in the land of Butte. And Helena. And Billings!

She's batshit crazy...

Meet Amanda Curtis
Did no one at the nominating convention think to simply Google her name? Are Montana Democrats that stupid? Or is this their way of setting her tailfeathers on fire so she can crash and burn vying for a seat she could never win in the first place?

There would have to be a considerable quantity of drugs involved before I'd approach her -- enough to thoroughly sedate her, for starters.  :tounge:

Can't do that, I'd wake the "sheriff" up and he has to go to work earlyish.  If I wake him up, there might be another beheading-mine.  Dang, are you, Boo and me the only ones awake?  Where'd everybody go?

I'm a night owl, myself. Boo lives on a distant planet and gets most of his information about Earth from random interceptions of BBC broadcasts, especially old Monty Python reruns. The rest of 'em are lightweights, pretty much.

And if you believe all this, I've got a fifty-cent piece I'll sell ya for twelve dollars.  :tounge:

I kinda like the reruns of ole' Benny what's his name, no kidding, he's funny.  I like the dry humor of some Brits-not all.

Think I'll go see if the break room needs cleaning-Solar told me to help Boo keep it clean.  Y'all aren't too messy to be men folk.  If you believe all this, I might can sell you that 50 cent piece back for 12 dollars.   :ttoung:

We can laugh, as long as she doesn't somehow stay close in the polls lol.

Rest assured that there will be a real or manufactured scandal involving whoever the GOP or TP runs, with the requisite massive MSM coverage.  Probably get indicted by a liberal court somewhere.

If Wendy Davis can claim to still be in the game.....nobody is too terrible for the DNC, MSM, Hollywood, and liberal courts to keep competitive.
