Good find. I was watching an interview with the group that did her marketing, they essentially said the same thing. They said they knew her from the cafe she mixed drinks at,, she admitted her brother submitted her for a casting call and suddenly, they were doing all her promotions.
They also admitted they were paid less than min wage when all was said and done.

Time to watch the "Manchurian Candidate" again.   Could KICK myself for not seeing this Hollywood Script gaining legs in the political arena - or that Democrats have ZERO original thoughts - following old Marxist lines of Greed, Envy & Division.

The challenge is more than just exposing their Leftist, Marxist roots, but educating them to Capitalism.

AOC's reasoning appeals to the world of a Pre-teen, everything is FAIR, Equitable, and the outcome is SHARED by the winners & losers alike.  Merit has been thrown out the window (for us), while these revolutionaries enrich themselves at our expense.

Incrementalism.   If they get just a portion of this Socialism, and educate the next generation to Communist ideology, it was worth a "throw-away" candidate like AOC.  (She gets quite rich for the acting Gig).

Our "failure" is two-fold, not educating the next generation, and not answering these "rock stars" AOC & Beto (ignoring them).

But they are still stuck by demographics. The best they can do is replace liberal democrats with socialists on the coasts and places like Chicago and a few other places. They're not really rock stars. They are creations by others. Basically AOC and the few others are a boy band.
