I found this a very good read if you have time.  There is 5 pages but the columns are not that wide so there is only about 2.5 pages at most.

But we I know the "Demise of Journalistic Standards" started long before 2016.

It'll be worse during the 2018 mid terms. They will have to cover for a party with no message that has spent two years screaming about Russia.

The party that vowed to win the war on poverty has absolutely NO record to stand on. Any caterwauling over Putin's gang playing with our election will backfire. The public's catching on --- Hillary Clinton simply refused to admit she lost, and caused millions of dollars to be spent needlessly on charges she will never prove. The DNC refusal to allow a search of its server says a lot about the honesty of that sorry party and of the Clintons.

Could be the DNC machine has as much to conceal as the Clintons machine.

How did the word "honesty" make it into something about the Clintons and the DNC?

This is a superb article on the longstanding imbalance of newsroom liberals over anyone with life experience. That's the one thing left out here: so many tyro journos are fresh out of college and don't have any. At least the on-the-job types without college could learn something BEFORE their voices changed and faces cleared up.

Children! They're hurled headlong into covering events they don't understand involving people they don't know (or know the various interests). And it happens in every small town newsroom filling a vacancy when someone better found a better job.

Few papers (in the actual paper clippings days) could afford a librarian to help reporters research background. More often you went in cold, trusted nobody, found out the various positions, and hoped you covered them even with objectivity and awareness of what you were doing.

Nowadays, it's inject opinion. When I was a daily urinalist, they called that fit only for the opinion page. I was okay with that. Liberals clearly are not, so the hue and cry over "fake news" isn't so fake---and it sure as hell isn't news.

I saw this yesterday and Toy and I looked at either and said "Shock".
Ya gotta luv how the left is now throwing their Jewish base under the table for pedophiles and perverts. I'm willing to bet they did the math and figured out their Jewish base is elderly and dying, so just shit can the rest.

Another brilliant move by the democrats. They are ditching a dependable voting block to chase a group that has proven they do not even vote.
