Dubinsky

In this segment of the interview Cruz says that there should be "NO PATH" to citizenship for illegal immigrants. He also reminded America that his friend Marco Rubio supported Chuck Schumer's amnesty plan and Rubio was praised for that support by Jeb Bush, Scott Walker AND President Obama.
What was striking in Cleveland was a majority of candidates on that stage have advocated amnesty, not just advocated, advocated it for years. Many of them vocally, vigorous, publicly, As you mentioned, your and my friend Marco Rubio joined with Chuck Schumer, authoring the Chuck Schumer amnesty plan. In doing so, he was enthusiastically supported by Jeb Bush. In doing so he was enthusiastically supported by Scott Walker and President Obama.
He also reminded the GOP what happened last time we nominated a candidate who was on the wrong side of the most important issue in the election (Mitt Romney and Obamacare) and it wasn't good...

In Walker's defense, he never knew the impact illegal immigration had on the country till he went down to the border a few months ago and talked to officials and a governor that dealt with it first hand on a daily basis.

OK, I actually said that with a straight face.
How many people needed to go to the border to understand the effect illegal immigration is having on the rest of the Nation?
Does he really think we're that God Damned stupid?

I agree with Cruz, NO PATH for the illegals. We already have a path for citizenship they can use it just like everyone else.

I have no patience for people that preach the path for illegals, or those that say that we can deport the '11+ million' so we may as well make them legal. That's BS!  :cursing:  We don't need to deport them. utoff their work and freebies, they'll self-deport.

The Mexicans here in liberal-ville now want $16.00 and hour to work. They used to charge $10.00 per hour.

Cruz is great, he has my vote as of now. He's not a politician, he's a Statesman, the last of a dying breed. Our country was founded and built by Statesman, not politicians. Its just a shame he will be seen as too far right and too religious to ever win a general election.

Oh, you'd be very surprised. People in Wisconsin have no clue what illegal immigration does because they are thousands of miles from the border. Just as someone from CA like me has no idea what issues in WI are like, people not living in border states generally are clueless. We see it every day here in SoCal. 1 in 10 in LA county are illegal and cities in Orange County (where I live) like Anaheim and Santa Ana that were once great cities have been overrun and run down by illegals. Neighborhoods turn into a barrio, home vales plummet, crime rates skyrocket etc...no to mention the ridiculous amounts of money CA wastes each year on illegals when our own citizens, especially veterans suffer. Its pathetic and disgusting and needs to change.

I live in Northern Ca in the sierra, and no, it's not an issue here, but I recognize hundreds of thousands entering the country illegally, and a Marxist giving away the store to get them here, as a huge problem.

For a Governor to be ignorant of this fact, exposes two potential issues.
One, he is either completely out of touch with the rest of the nation and has no place running for the highest office in the land, or two, he is a liar and needed this as a cover for flip flopping on an issue he had previously supported.

Take your pick.

I'm not as harsh towards the other candidates as some, but You're right. Every last one of them, including Trump,  with the exception of Cruz, are politicians. Cruz is a real statesman.

I know I don't have to go to the border to see.

Rubio is all about increased immigration.  He is also pushing for more H1B visa's.  I read it the other day.  He's a no go for me.
