Ted Cruz: 'Obnoxious' Al Franken hurled 'hate' insult for book sales
Minnesota Sen. Al Franken's decision to openly express "hate" for Sen. Ted Cruz this week was met with well-wishes by his target on Wednesday.
A promotional interview for Mr. Franken's new book titled "Giant of the Senate" included a smattering of personal attacks on Tuesday. The Democrat told USA Today that an entire chapter, "Sophistry," is dedicated to the "singularly dishonest" Mr. Cruz.
The Texan, however, tempered his response.
"Al is trying to sell books and apparently he's decided that being obnoxious and insulting me is good for causing liberals to buy his books," Mr. Cruztold Politico. "I wish him all the best."....

to a lobbyist.
Of course, the lobbyist had no intentions of reading the thousands of copies.
It was just an excuse to give Jim Wright a big pile of money.
