For those libs out there that thought we were a flash in the pan, despite us telling you to the contrary, you can't kill core values.
As a rule, we never post entire articles, but since we give washingtontimes.com tons of support and hits, they won't mind this one time, especially since breaking it up would do the author a great disservice.
Here's the truth most never get to see.

Some of you may remember that the conservative tea party was founded in 2009 after CNBC analyst Rick Santelli offered an unprecedented, on-camera rant from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, railing against the Obama administration and calling for the formation of a new "tea party." Grassroots folks took the cue and a movement was born — complete with such very active organizers as the Tea Party Patriots, and Tea Party Express. With their good cheer, enthusiasm and devotion to founding principles, the tea party outreach proved so compelling and successful that some progressive groups even tried to emulate their tactics.

The tea partyers have another distinction, however. They have proved intensely and consistently loyal to President Trump, perhaps something for GOP strategists to consider as 2020 looms and the battle for voters — and party unity — gets underway.

"A decade after the tea party emerged as a political force, its former supporters are some of Donald Trump's most stalwart Republican supporters, according to a new analysis of Pew Research Center panel surveys from 2014 through 2018," the pollster says, noting that the tea party's "very positive feelings" toward the president did not waver as the years went by.

"Republicans who had positive views of the tea party movement in 2014 or 2015 were among Trump's most enthusiastic backers during the 2016 campaign. And, unlike Republicans who had mixed or negative opinions of the tea party, they continued to have very positive feelings about Trump through his first year as president," the analysis said.

The pollster's complex research has a grand finale, though. They also developed a "feeling thermometer" which gauged the temperature of feelings about the president, going from cold to hot, on a scale of 1 to 100. In 2018, tea partyers gave Mr. Trump a toasty 78 on the scale, up from 61 when he took office. Their positive sentiment is only increasing.

Wait, wait until the 2020 election IMO it's going to be brutal. There are millions of voters like myself who didn't vote Trump for whatever reason. I can only give my reason. I wrote in Ted Cruz thinking Trump would never ever have a conservative agenda, boy was I wrong. I knew in my heart that Trump would carry and take Georgia so in my mind it was safe to write in Ted Cruz.

Now that Trump has proven that, what word am I trying to say, oh yeah I think Solar said it best, Trump might not be a conservative but he's a Patriot and I will stand proud in that voting booth and cast my vote for Trump.

A lot a Tea Party Conservatives feel the say way. Matter of fact and off topic, I received a 20 dollar bill from somewhere and on the back of it Trump's name is written in black felt pen over the White House with one arrow pointing to the 20 on the bottom left and one arrow pointing to the 20 on the bottom right. I looked at it for a minute and then it hit me....TRUMP 2020.

I wish I new how to post pictures on here so I can show it before I pass the 20 dollar bill onto someone else hoping it lands in the hands of a liberal in Washington, D.C.

Here is my thoughts when Trump won the 2016 election.

BINGO!!!
I too was one of the many TEA, that didn't support Trump because he wasn't a Conservative, and I think that number is close to 30% of the base that sat out. With that in mind, that 30% will be voting for the Patriot with pride and that alone will cause a landslide effect in 2020.
I think someone hit on something, we all should do that to all of the $20' in our wallet.

This is off topic also but I was meaning to ask what is going on with Ted Cruz....? His Conservative Review score is in the very low 80s. Matter of fact he's sitting at 82 while Mike Lee is solid at 98. It seems like after the 2016 election Ted Cruz has taken a drip in his voting according to his Conservative Review scorecard. I believe Ted Cruz is still a solid conservative and I'll like to see him back up in the high 90s.

Here is his voting record.

Sick Of Silence

Does this mean we have to hear Liberals go "tea-baggers" with condescending tone again?
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

We have been talking TEA for about nine years now and it is fine TEA is not mentioned much by the MSM. However, it is stronger than ever. Trump has consolidated those who were skeptical about Trump initially. I, along with some here, was one of the skeptics. I have alluded to the silent majority many times and it will bring us another "what happened" moment from the left in 2020.

I expect this new Tea Party will have a whole lot of those who were not of age in 2010.  My Dad is no longer here, but he is an Ex-POW and WWII bomber Pilot, who proudly attended Tea Party rallies and held up a sign that read "Don't Tread on Me" and my mom carried one that read "Stop Spending our Grandchildren's Future". Many of the Old Guard are no longer with us, but I suspect there will be patriotic Millennials who will take their places.  Freedom and love of country is passed down from generation to generation.

Our institutions have kept kids as children well into what used to be adulthood for earlier generations.  Nonetheless, as these kiddies leave school and begin to compete in the real world and get married and raise families of their own, most of them mature and find out what most of us found out when we left High School.  I have faith in America because I have faith in the goodness of the American people, just as Ronald Reagan had.

We are stronger than they are and United We Stand!

It is still a minority that controls the indoctrination centers and kids don't stay in their for life!

I agree, with the economy being what it is, there's no longer an excuse for these kids in their late 30s to be staying at mom and dads. Once they enter the real world where PC is laughed at, they are in for a huge shock. Add to that, paying actual taxes out of an honest paycheck.

I recall my initial reaction to hearing Obamacare kept "children" on their parent's policies until they were 26, as one of total shock!  Who pays for this increase of coverage for everyone?  I recall working several jobs, as a young man, which had "no benefits".  Along with everyone else, I looked to eventually get a better job that had benefits (including health insurance). This extension of parental dependency does a great disservice to young people.  They no longer have to do what they have to do to grow up and meet their responsibilities as young men and young women.  NOTHING'S FREE!

Not to stray too far off topic.
Your'e Right, who was supposed to pay for this? Us, the taxpayer. But these kids were sold a bill of goods that amounted to nothing more than "Feelings". Fact is, most 20 year old kids never go to the hospital because they're sick, they won't need this kind of coverage till they hit their 50s.
They were told they were victims of capitalism, they have been brainwashed into believing that only Govt can provide and that private insurers will cut them off when they need it most, but big brother will be there, which is a huge lie.
Point being, the left has created this govt image of the Great Oz, just don't look behind the curtain to see a bureaucratic image of a decrepit Marx pulling all the levers removing Freedom and Liberty under the guise of security.
Thank God TEA came about, it was time for us to come of age, giving Conservatives an emblem/banner to coalesce around, us, the base, the silent majority found a voice that could bring down leftists in both party's.
It worked as evidenced by both party's using the IRS to squelch our voice and exposing just what and who they were.

Bear in mind that Obamacare expanded Medicaid to 150% 'adjusted income' above poverty line.  Most of those who signed up for Obamacare are receiving Medicaid and their children remain on their government subsidized medicaid "insurance" policies until they are 26 years old.  Now, the Democrats want to go from "Medicaid for More" to "Medicare for All".  Who Pays for all this Free Stuff?

Who pays? Your grand kids. I just hope Trump does the Right thing instead of finding compromise. He did tout the GOP Health Care plan as a fantastic idea, but we all know how the GOP works. We don't need a damn HC plan, we need govt the Hell out of it altogether.
The left demands 100% compliance and your left nut and the right to sleep with your wife. The GOP say's No Way! You can have 90% of what you ask for and we'll wax our nuts, if that pleases Nancy and Schumer.

In order for Trump to do the right thing, the American people must do the right thing and provide Trump with a GOP controlled House and a veto proof majority in the Senate. Even people like Ann Coulter prove themselves to be idiots for blaming the President for not doing what he lawfully can not do without Congress.  Ann's far more of a Romney supporter than a loyal Trumpian, even though Romney could and wouldn't do any more than President Trump can do without both Houses of Congress and and end of the judicial activism being allowed by the Supreme Court. (Romney would roll over and not even attempt to do what Trump being challenged on each and every front)
