Yeah... I kinda like it!   The sequence of pictures are as good or better than the song - call it gut wrenching pride.

A reflection on the NFL.
The Laws of Common Sense insist that a business enterprise cannot succeed
if it does not clearly understand the difference between and importance of,
its customers (its fans) and its employees (its players).
Those preceding us clearly did and w/o college degrees, poor things.
But since we're the greatest, all we need are credentials and degrees.
Betting here is that the more money jackass Goodell makes, the stupider he becomes.

I once knew a guy who was a musician. He shared that he saw many good musicians not succeed because they played for themselves and not the audience.

Yup - nice way of saying the really conceited ones, who are not entertainers - go begging for fans & money.  applies to musicians & football, alike.   Not appealing, just appalling.

GQ put Kaepernick on the cover, girlish afro... geeze, he looks so "sweet" - the guy can't even get that right.  But when you got a woman coaching your life... arrgh!   I wonder if other MEN have tried to pull him aside for a minute, "Hey man, what the hell are you doing?!?!"... in a few more years, he will be completely past his prime, a talentless hack... and probably flat broke.  At least try Baseball, since football is a lost cause - and quit the political crap!

How do you parley a football career into a protest career?  Guess we'll find out...  I actually, still feel sorry for the guy.  Seen too it many times, a crazy girl gets her hooks into a talented friend - all down hill from there.   Also seen the opposite, a guy finds a smart girl, she gives him confidence, and he turns into a superstar.  Been saying it my whole life, women have all the power.

Like I said, AI Football is coming. Be it burgers, or trash pick up, bots are replacing the ignorant and unskilled.
That especially goes for overpaid babies. Let's be honest, they play on a field chasing around a damn ball.
Truth is, I'd rather watch a bunch of blind kids play the game with a ball that makes noise. Now that's entertainment, and they wouldn't require much in the way of pay, they'd do it for the fun of the game.

OMF'nGOD!
It's been nothing more than a shakedown by the players wanting the owners to pay reparations out of pocket.

'We don't that money, we want the owner's money, we want their money, we want them to hurt'

It's been a shakedown all along, the SJW bull shit was just an excuse.
But what this exposes most of all, is the owners are a bunch of spineless bitches that deserve to get milked of every dime they have, so it forces the league to collapse.

As I understand it the arrangement between the NFL and players' union was the players had to stand for the money to be paid. I have heard about 25 players took a knee yesterday. It will be interesting to see what Goodell and the NFL does now.

Regardless of what they do, nothing will change unless these players are sent through an American history course and figure out just how damn good they have it.
Otherwise, the league will never recover, they're tainted with the scarlet letter of "Hate for America" and all she stands for.

Stupid just don't learn.....

For me, it will take a lot more than just standing at this point.  Goodell would need to go... a rule players can't disrespect our country, law enforcement, etc., ON AND OFF THE FIELD, violent criminal convictions result in losing your contract, and a few others.

In other words, I can't see myself coming back any time in the next 5-10 years.

I'll watch a bunch of intelligent machines smash and crack each other up!   If these tough guys want to take them on they better have plenty of Angel Dust in their system for courage - cause it's gonna hurt really bad getting tackled by a 300lb machine!

The way football is going, I'm seriously expecting some 'player' to pull a gun or a knife on the field and attempt to murder someone.
I heard the Bengals had 178 yards in penalties against the Steelers - who they had a 17-0 lead on.  Back when I watched the game, 70-80 yards of penalties was TOO MUCH.   178 yards sounds like bad coaching... like the players are completely out of control.  Not worth watching, IMO.

What I expect to see first, is a video game like Maddens NFL on steroid.
Companies will sponsor teams, there'll be things like actual injuries, penalties, an algorithm that will allow new players to develop certain skills over time, bringing a human equation, and best of all, a monitored system to keep it on the up and up.

I was telling Taxed about this, and I believe it will be in the works within 5 years, will more than likely pull more audience that the NFL sees today.
I'd watch, I quit watching sports when it went leftist, refs being bought off, players whining all the time.
I'm looking forward to the day.

I was thinking of Football Battle Bots.   Metal against Metal, on the field.   AI running real bi-pod type machines.   Even a bunch of geeks on the sidelines, controlling their movements would be cool.  They'd keep a metal dumpster on each sideline... a couple of little "clean up Bots" wheel the thing out there, clean up a "late hit" with an electro-magnet, into the dumpster, then off the field... play resumes....
