The worst thing to happen to the economy was Obama, yet it clung on for dear life with small miracles keeping it alive, like the boom in the fracking industry.  I'll contradict myself in giving partial credit of the strong economy to Obama.  After everything businesses and consumers went through with Obama, that abuse made us super-durable and tough, so when a pro-business president gave the economy just a little bit of love, it began to recover and grow quickly.

Obama gave us the confidence that we can survive anything, so some trade and supply-chain realignment with China is no big deal.

The economy under the Marxist was a car driving on four flat tires, sure, it moved but it was sluggish, but people still had to make a living so they accepted delays in production.
Obozo even limited where the car could drive by using the EPA as a weapon against those wanting to keep roads open so the car could at least travel, but he restricted it's movement even further with these new impeding rules, so the car went where it was allowed, even forced it to run on batteries, which impeded it's travel even more.

Trump comes along, repairs the tires, puts a new engine in it, removes the barriers placed on it by an overbearing EPA and suddenly orders were once again being filled, the economy recovered over night.
Now that car has a full tank, all thanks to Trump.
