The Seattle City Council on Monday approved a pared-down version of the "head tax" on the metro area's largest employers to fund efforts to battle homelessness despite public criticism from local businesses, including e-commerce giant Amazon.
Approved by a vote of 8-1 on the amended version, the measure will go into effect in January 2019 and tax companies that earn $20 million or more in annual sales 14 cents per employee hour, or $275 per employee annually. The tax is expected to raise roughly $50 million per year toward outreach efforts for the homeless, including affordable housing and emergency shelter.

Well, if you look at how they are brought and what they are exposed to they are entitled, completely closed off from opposing opinions. Having to work hard to achieve is considered mean and competition in their world does not exist. We call them socialists and communists but in reality they don't know what any of that is. All they know is life is hard and they believe they should not have to deal with it.

A sad, but true commentary. Just look at any university, they're being bred to believe competition is unfair, that capitalism is inherently evil, and the very reason school no longer teaches our Founding Documents 3 years. Anyway, it was when I went to school, 8th grade, 10th and my Senior year, it was required.
I've heard mention from kids graduating that they only skimmed over it. Obviously, the left wants our kids as stupid and brainwashed as they are.
