File this one under "bizarre." Two University of Colorado Boulder students were arrested after allegedly bringing pot-laden brownies to their classroom — and feeding them to their professor and classmates. The entire incident is almost too-unbelievable-to-be-true, as Thomas Ricardo Cunningham, 21, and Mary Elizabeth Essa, 19, are now facing four felony charges for cooking up the drugged desserts and offering them to their peers.   http://www.theblaze.com/stories/college-students-arrested-after-feeding-pot-brownies-to-their-professor-classmates/

Saw this on the news last night.
These idiots do deserve some serious punishment.

At some point you would think they asked themselves what could possibly go wrong, or could there be consequences to our actions?

If this had happened to me, I'd definitely have them arrested and charged with every conceivable charge possible.
Then I'd kick their asses.

Q PATRIOT!!!

These students acted with a blatant disregard for the rights of others, by deceiving them into ingesting a mind altering substance.

When people do not respect the rights of others, the use of force and violence is justified, but the punishment has to be proportionate to the crime.

Without an understanding of the purposes of law one will be clueless about judging when legal violence is justified and when it is not.

At the very least, imagine what would have happened if one of the victims had subsequently popped positive on a random drug screening?! They might have (despite Colorado's legalization of pot) at the very least, lost their jobs. If they were part of the National Guard or Reserves, they could have been discharged under OTH (Other Than Honorable) conditions and loss some, or all of their veteran's benefits!
