Swede Henrik Palmgren completely shreds socialism

I listen to my talk shows on podcasts instead of live AM nowadays, and listen to a bunch of different alternative podcasts that I'm hooked on.  One of them is a show called Red Ice Radio, out of Sweden, hosted by a guy named Henrik Palmgren.  His guests and topics range from politics to conspiracy and all over the map.  I've listened to a few shows with some guests who just shred AGW, expose it as a communist takeover, and the whole nine yards.

Anyhoo, I'm listening to an episode with a guest named Robert Felix (http://www.iceagenow.com/), and he's talking about the upcoming cold weather.  The whole episode is really good, but to hear this beautiful rant, start at 41:45.  Felix touches on the EPA and Hussein wanting to shut down the coal industry, and it leads into Henrik's rant which starts right at 47:00 minutes.  Felix makes another point, and Henrik then just perfectly sums up what socialism is and what it has done to his country until about 52:45.  I've listened to it about 5 times; it is pure gold from someone who lives there and is victim to it.

A must-listen to...

He's absolutely correct, AGW is a Marxist plot to seize power, he's also right about an ice age coming.
Science has proven through ice core data that Co2 increases are equivalent to smoke after fire, rather than effect climate, it indicates what has already happened, as in crushed fenders after a car wreck, it's merely a residual of the action, as is heating, something that ended nearly two decades ago.

My analogy to the AGW claim, is Marxists are claiming they can prevent car accidents by outlawing crushed fenders.
The same way they claim reducing Co2 will magically effect something that already happened, it just doesn't work that way, they know it's a lie, but it's a gamble they were willing to make to seize control of our energy production.

Excellent podcast. The thing is if this ice age comes, people facing starvation and death tend to get a little nasty. So if the industrialized, WELL ARMED north is facing an ice age, when they turn to look south; if things are like the were in the last ice age, the Sahara desert will be a well watered warm savannah. Think they'll bother to ask the locals if they can move into, their suddenly wonderful lands. Or will we have something like Feudalism, a well armed class of European lords, ruling over populations of African/Arab serfs. Or if it's only a little ice age, the industrialized countries have the science and technology to deal with colder and rainier climates (anti GMO types will get burned at the stake), but what will some of these other countries do? They don't have our technology - indeed much of their farming is subsistence level - and the industrialized countries will have little, if anything, extra to send them. Will we circle the wagons, and watch while they descend - even further - into savagery?

I like your analogy. Mine is the professional athlete, the line-busting play-breaking NFL fullback who's on track to make $15 million a year for the foreseeable future. But he's a maverick, and he hates the playbook the coaches pass out. His best plays are always broken plays, where he's forced to pivot and jink and leap and stiff-arm his way through the defense. No other player in the NFL can touch him for raw game-winning power. But his teammates grumble and the coaches and management berate him for shredding the playbook and the league threatens to sanction him and make up new penalties to prevent him from doing what he does best.

The team doctors and the team president come to him and explain that they're worried about him. They fear that his flamboyant, super-athletic playing style will cause him injury that might ruin his career. They tell him that he can only continue to play if he wears a brace on his left ankle. He considers his choices and begins to wear the brace during practices and on game day; the natural, predictable drop in his performance is hardly noticeable. A few weeks later, the doctors are back with a brace for the other ankle, and a pair of stiff wrist guards for him to use. Again, the degradation in his performance is slight.

As the months pass, the doctors return again and again, and the running back is laden with braces, casts, stiffeners, wraps, therapeutic gloves, magical burning ointments, and so on. Finally, the doctors present him with a set of blinders, a special gift from management that help him keep his eye straight ahead, according to the playbook, and also prevent him from seeing all the burdensome extra equipment he is forced to lug through every game. Within the space of a year, he is a third-string benchwarmer.

His handlers -- the doctors and management -- are delighted with his straight-ahead workman-like plodding runs, always by their playbook. And as they love to point out, "See? We were right! He hasn't suffered a single injury since we started helping him. Remember how we told you he'd kill himself if he kept on with his old ways? Well, it didn't happen, so we were right, and there's no more to be said about that!"

Also, here's a fascinating article on kid of what he talks about, that the earth is the cause of warming, not man.

What one will surmise from all of this is, the earth was warming despite mans existence, and as pointed out, Co2 follows this warming cycle.

Yep, advancing the cause of liberalism has never been about personal success, rather lowering the bar to include the incompetent.
As in trophies for showing up, no grade tests, it damages the self esteem of the loser, or rather burgeoning liberal.

Do any of us really understand liberalism? I know I don't. Why would anyone want to be miserable, self loathing and constantly envious of others every moment of every day?
