Title: Steve Bannon discussing possibility of new right-wing network
Post by: Solar on August 19, 2017, 12:06:19 PM
Steve Bannon, who parted ways with the Trump administration on Friday, is reportedly discussing the prospect of starting up a network to the right of Fox News.

A report from Axios on Saturday said Bannon, who rejoined Breitbart News as executive chairman hours after his White House departure, has told friends about the idea.

Axios previously reported that the late Roger Ailes had reached out to Bannon before his death in May about starting a channel together, but Bannon at the time did not want to leave the White House. The report Saturday said that Bannon was a huge fan of the idea, as he isn't a fan of the globalist direction he sees Fox News taking lately.

Long Island hedge fund billionaire Bob Mercer is on board for Bannon's next project, the report said. That could also turn out to be an overseas expansion of the Brietbart media operation.

There is speculation among Bannon's friends on whether the network, if it came to fruition, will be a TV channel or available via online streaming.

The guy who wanted higher taxes and backed a New York liberal wants to start a more conservative network?  What's next -- they'll build it around O'Reilly?

Actually I hope he does. The left will go f**king bananas. They would never be able to tolerate it.

A truly conservative network?  We can only hope. If so, a brilliant idea by Bannon; it would hit the MSM like a ton of bricks and help take some of the heat off of Trump.

Anyone know who's replacing Bannon?

Well, he was talking to Ailes, the Founder of the Establishment RNC. Bannon screwed us once by destroying Andrew Breitbarts good name.

I think this is actually why he left, Trump and him cooked this idea up, probably got financing from some people who owe Trump big favors.

I cant wait......
