here were at least 80 threats to kill or harm administrative law judges or staff over the past year - an 18 percent increase over the previous reporting period, according to data collected by the agency.

Nearly 2 million people are waiting to find out if they qualify for benefits, with many having to wait more than two years to see their first payment.

   No wonder SS is broke

Two million applicants? Wow, I wonder how many of them are legit. I watched an under cover program about the fraud in the system. Guys are plying basketball, lifting refrigerators and all sorts of physical activities. They had a segment about former welfare recipients who are now on permanent disability for chronic depression. I think I'm depressed now, maybe I will apply. ;D

Heck, I've been depressed since Obama took office.  I'll probably be depressed for two more years.   :(

I see this as another example of the entitlement attitude that so many Americans have.

"The government owes me money and food and free medical care and a place to live, and I WANT IT NOW!"

Thanks Democrats, for 70+ years of social and economic destruction.

Not to many years ago the greatest generation thought you were a disgrace to ask for a handout. They believe a man took care of his family and himself. My father used to tell me the worst thing is to be considered a bum....all thats gone now, if you dont work and your collecting from 3 different places people admire you...wtf
People pass information around on what they can get free...

But in all fairness there arent the jobs around that there used to be...it used to be if you wanted to work you could....but thanks to the endless quest for more and more profit...we have assured every chinaman has a job
