Leftist Stupidity Epitomized.
Hell, doesn't this idiot know the speed of sound is slower than a bullet, let alone the fact that you can't actually silence a weapon?

Talk about Sportsman.......In africa when an idiot shoots a lion it's the shooter's fault but in American when one man shoots another man it's the gun's fault.

WTF? I have never hunted, never owned a gun but know that by the time the animal hears the gun it is too late.

I'd ask where do they find these people, then I realized it was 'Honest Williams' doing the interview.

You can't completely silence any gun.

EX: Depending on load (ammo) An AR15 puts out around 140 db's (jet plane)
A suppressor cuts out around 30db's

That leaves around 110 db's (chain chaw)

With heftier rounds we could be talking 150-160 db's (Instant deaf)

Next they'll outlaw clear mono-filament fishing line, because the fish can't see it?

Either this guy is ignorant, or he (they) think the audience is a bunch of suckers, who'd believe anything.

Did super-sonic jets stop making a sonic boom when the exceed Mach 1?
Even a "hot" shot-gun slug for deer hunting and make a sonic "crack" that a silencer can't eliminate.  Supressors (silencers) only work on sub-sonic bullets... they've been watching too many Hollywood movies.

Where they sleeping during 7th grade science glass???

I believe all this talk about silencers from the dims falls under "if you say a lie often enough people will believe it" category, there are too many sound bites using the same faulty "facts". Personally,  the only legislation I see coming out of this will concern bump stocks.

I agree with your assessment and this creates a dilemma for me.

I do not see the need for any private citizen to have basically a machine gun. That being said, I have concern about any law to restrict guns. As Walks mentioned this would just be the first bite. It is the camel's nose under the tent.

I'll give you one!

A widely reprinted article by Tench Coxe, an ally and correspondent of James Madison, described the Second Amendment's overriding goal as a check upon the national government's standing army:

Quote
As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the next article in their right to keep and bear their private arms.

Quote
History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing.

Adolph Hitler
